Wedding Forum - I'm a little bit stuck on what too go for....

I have a couple of themes that I'm thinking about and I'm not sure what too go for.

1. Very British - I love the fact that I'm British and I think I may be a little too obsessed with the Union flag. I've been thinking about making bridesmaid dresses with the Union flag involved somehow.
H2B Thoughts: isn't too keen on this theme he has said if it means that much too you, you can do it.

2. Alice's Tea Party - Think of Alice in Wonderland - then steal little quirky parts and mold them together (if that makes sense). Well I have always always loved Alice in Wonderland. Always. I have so many ideas for this. I have got ideas for the invitations, flowers.
H2B Thoughts: says he wouldn't mind this theme, but he still won't wear a top hat.

3. Summer Pastels - Pastel pinks, greens, blues, yellows etc. With maybe poke-a-dots and roses. Sort of like Cath Kidston style.
H2B Thoughts: Possibly, but he doesn't think it will be the winner.

4. Buttons! - I know this might sound crazy too some but let me explain. You know how a wedding is usually classed as "The Brides Day" well Button is my nickname for my H2B and I think he should be a very big part of it. Okay so I'm not too good at explaining myself on this one. So for example - walking down the aisle people will be looking at my dress and bouquet and not my H2B so have a bouquet made from buttons and there he his in our secret little way.
H2B Thoughts: He likes it!

5. Pokemon - I haven't fully worked this one out yet. But I asked the H2B what theme would you want and this was his answer, his obsessed. But I do love one of the main quotes "(name) I choose you" which I think is very fitting for a wedding.
H2B Thoughts: Well he is clearly gonna like this idea.


Thoughts on these ideas. Any other amazing ideas? -Help

I love the tea party theme and probably would have gone for it as well but my friend had it a couple of years ago. There are so many ideas on pintrest and other sites out there now for it.

going by your suggestions thought I think for YOU it buttons is the way to go! Love your story why. so many ideas for buttons (cake decorations/boutineers/bouquet/favours - brilliant! (and buttons are cheap too so you could go absolutely crazy!!!)

Lego Bride, I do really like everything you have done with the Lego thumbs up all the way. And I understand on the not wanting too mix it up too much but that is a great idea if we do end up going for the Pokémon idea can I steal it?
Also do you have your Pokéballs sorted?

i like the idea of pokémon when im in a giddy mood i try to annoy people by saying pikachu like pikachu does. lol.
mix them up a bit, bits from each. xx

I love the cath kidston style theme!! Also if you did go for union jack you don't have to make it over the top. You can just use white red and blue flowers - a friend of mine did this and it was patriotic without being too much!
All lovely ideas though so I can see why you're struggling! xx

theres a lady on here thats done a button theme , you look at her pics ... seek her out , i'll try cause i cant quite remember who it was.... lol xx
