Our wedding is on a budget so we want a decent day but having to cut back on some things i.e.not having a piper, not having the package we want for photos (still having photographer though), buying BMs dresses of bay of E etc all the things you need to do to save money. As most of you know I have been married before and then my parents bought me shoes that cost a fortune and as i have only wore them once they are still in perfect condition, so to save on money i am going to wear these. plus the fact i dont see the point of buying new shoes when i still have perfectly good ones! Thats my reasons but does everyone think im mad or just trying to save money????

Don't see an issue with it myself. If you've got it, might as well use it! Be a waste not to.

To me hun it makes perfect sense, they can be your something old :) As long are you're comfortable wearing them I say go for it, I agree that there's no point in buying another pair. At first I wanted a pair of Choos but sense got the better of me and I've bought some from D'hams for £25.20 (on discount), they're only for one day xxx

As long as you're comfortable that's all that counts. It's your day!! Have you thought about adding to them like ribbon or diamantes just to make them different from last time? Customise!! Or buy some lace and cover them in it, hmm xxx

That's a brilliant idea! xxx

I think it makes perfect sense, especially if you like them & they are comfy. Its one less thing to worry about & try find money for.

Brilliant idea! :) Why not! Not sure what your dress is like but if its long no1's going to see your feet x

Nothing wrong with that. It's buying for buying's sake otherwise.

@mrs brown to be yeah my dress is long and thats exactly what i thought no-one is going to see my feet but although i think h2b is worried its going to remind me of my last wedding and it really wont. il just think i have a lovely pair of shoes on that are comfy and can dance in

You could add something to them (If possible) Its very hard to find a comfy pair of shoes for a wedding. x
CommentAuthorMrs Ross
Oh god there goes that idea!!! really dont think H2b is happy with me wearing them :( ah well they were lovely shoes and in great condition
CommentAuthorfiona
