    Hi girls,

I am getting so close but I cannot decide what to get my sister (maid of honour) as a gift. I want something thoughtful yet only about £8 tops. Mums (mine&H2B) have wooden heart plaques with a wee poem and going to get a nice box to put it in with some nice chocolates and I'll make them a wee brooch each too. My dad is getting an engraved glass and Best men are getting engraved hipflasks.

So I want to do a similar idea for my sister and bridesmaids but I cant decide what to buy. Everywhere I go I see charm bracelets BUT my sister got a proper expensive one for her 40th and I dont want to get her another one. Any ideas on a girft that can be in some way personalised?

This is nothing to do with gifts but our reception room has a sort of country esque type bar attached that is ours for the wedding day. Its all wooden with big wooden beams. Lovely room. It just occured to me I have no decorations for this room. Soooo I thought because I am majorly skint, Ive bought dove shaped confetti (which is gorgeous) and was going sprinkle this over the tables. I can get 12 wine bottles for £15 and I already have extra candles. Do you think its worth the extra expense? As H2B could pay for this and save me some pennies.

Our MOH has a poem i did (in my albums) & a engraved wine glass :)

Don't go to OTT on the deco hun if the beams are stunning people will just want to look at them so a little something would be ok but not tooo extravigant

Hey ladies, I found these gorgeous wine glasses - £10 each. You can have a wee message engraved and wee hearts either side. Very cute :-) Plus H2B got his best men pressies - so all the pressies, favours, place settings, decorations (for the reception room) are finally ordered/in the house. We just need a tank of helium for the balloons (really annoyin as I only have 5 balloons), some decorations for the bar (minimal), bridesmaid shoes, my hair thing and my underwear (for the night time - already have daytime undies). I need to go and do another to do list or my brain will implode again....lol
