I just ordered ours yesterday a 3 tier, bottom plain sponge with jam and cream middle chocolate fudge and top lemon sponge. Was gonna get an m & s one but was feeling a bit stressed about leaving it with the venue to stack etc. So decided to order one off a company that deliver and set it up for you. Its cost a bit more than the m & s but its worth it not to be stressing over the delivering and set up.

We are having a 3 tier cake, bottom - sponge, middle - lemon and top - fruit, but now im thinking the cake wont be big enough as we have increased are original numbers so i might have a chocolate cake on the side too x

H2B wants traditional 3 tier cake.

I want 3 or 4 tiers, bottom fruit, middle chocolate and/or coffee and the small top tier to keep as the Christening cake for our first child as the traditional fruit. I am not sure if we'll be able to have them like that as I have a dairy allergy so not sure if we'll be limited to a small range of choices.

We have a cake tasting session on Saturday with one of the reception venues preferred suppliers.

All this talk of cake makes me want to bake now, think I'll make a chocolate brownie tray tomorrow.

we are having 4 tiers of chocolate, lemon, vanilla with jam and butter cream and I'm not sure on the other yet think it will be either carrot or strawberry x

i am also having a small individual gluten free cake for my niece this will be homemade by my sister and iced and ecorated be my cake maker so it will look like the bigger one x

Cherry82/In Dreamland have you discussed your cakes with the person making it? Only we were told you couldnt have fruit as top tier due to the weight of it - unless obviously you're having them separate then it wouldnt matter obviously x

We're having 3 tier: bottom choc fudge, middle toffee, top victoria sponge and we're having a separate cutting fruit cake seeing as I love it but, as we had to have the fruit on the bottom, felt it was too much fruit cake to have as the bottom tier. I was really surprised by how much I liked the toffee, I thought it would be too sweet even for me but no... beautiful! x

I'm buying my own cake stand. It's a swan cake stand and the tiers don't sit on top of each other. I'm going to have 3. The biggest is sponge cake the next size will be chocolate and the smallest will be fruit.

I had decided on fruit bottom then carrot and coffee/baileys with a chocolate grooms cake
But now i'm not sure whether to not have the fruit cake and have carrot bottom then lemon

2nd - Chocolate Orange
3rd - Chocolate mint
4th - Dark chocolate for the groom

Oh my goodness, while scrolling through the tv channels looking for something to watch I found a program called 'choccywoccydoodah' its similar to ace of cakes but English and chocolate instead of cake.

I'm in love! If it wasn't in Brighton I would be begging h2b for one.
