It's normal for rather and daughter to have a dance after the bride and groom have done their first dance. As my father is not going to be there I wondered about having a mother and daughter dance? She is doing all the other duties that my father should be doing like walking me down the aisle and the speech so I don't see why not? What do you all think? Do any of you have your mum walking you down the aisle? Xx

Aww mrscookiecrew that's not good! Why is it that weddings bring out the worst in people, especially family!! I'm not even sure if my dad knows I'm getting married!! So there is no argue ment from him as he won't be there! Xx

Yeah I thought she might like it, I have found a perfect song but I'm thinking it might be a bit soppy? It's called mama's song by carrie underwood!! Hoping someone will have a listen to it and see what they think. It's a little bit country but my mum likes country? Xx

My friends wedding on the 22/6 had a niece/aunt dance because her mum cut her off and her aunt picked up the pieces.

Cheryl22 it took a lot of blood sweat and tears trying to find that song (long story involving my FATHER!!) but the minute I found it I knew it was the one! I am so glad my mum offered to do and I am slowly but surely getting used to the idea that my father will not be there! xx
