Think I have died and gone to shoe heaven!! Have just found these shoes following a link for Rock and Roll bride on the book of face ........ luuuuuurrrrve them!!! Am seriously thinking of having either pair as my wedding shoes. As you know, we are having a 1950's theme and I am having a bit of a vintage glam but fun, rock n roll bride look - ivory tea length dress with a pink petticoat and sash and I wanted some shoes with a bit of fun and colour. The original pair that I had found and had been DROOOOOLING over, are too expensive *sigh* ...
So, would these be ok as my wedding shoes and if so, which pair would you go for?

I think go for it. I had a similar thread asking if leopard print shoes would be okay and I got really positive feedback from you all so I'm going to go for it :) They'll go with your theme brilliantly! I love the second pair, they're soooo pretty :) xxx

i would go for the ones on the right with the more slender heel but i think thats just my personal preference i think they look more elegant than the chunky heel

Lol I'm not going to tell you to bog off anni!! They are hand painted and they are based in Canada - you can either buy your shoes and send them to her for painting or ask her to get the shoes for you. Prices START at around $275 .... Will post the link to your wall x

iluvcakes av you not thort about going to a college/uni and asking if there students could do them for you those who are doin art work may need some things for there portfolio they wud poss do them free or just for a small charge its worth asking cud get them to do it on a cheap pair to see the outcome before giving them your main wedding shoes x
i love the expensive ones too and if was doin that theme i wud get them lol my h2b wud give in n let me pay anthing for things towards wedding if i really wanted them. x

They are all lovely......I really like the expensive ones.....but I can't wear high heals as I have problems with my knees..so it has to be flat shoes for me

I love the first ones, but ouch! bit on the pricey side, could you not see if any of your friends, or maybe look online to see if you can find an artist that would make you something similar for less than that? Could be an option. But I love the other two, I adore irregular choice shoes, and love the whole none traditional bridal shoe idea. out of the two think i'd go for the tea and cakes one, I prefer a slimmer heal :) x

I love irregular choice shoes, I have a pair for my wedding, and I have another pair that i bought that are actually a bit too big for me so i am ebay-ing them....but I want another pair in the right size.

I was looking at the stick of rock ones too - I have lots of irregular choice and def want them to be candidates for my wedding shoes! Just need the dress first before I decide. La La Love them! You could get all three and change throughout the day! oooooo picture opportunities and lots of jealous ladies!

Love them! Wouldn't fit with my theme but might treat myself to a pair anyway!! Have ivory and crystal strappy sandals during day and leopard print stilettos with my evening dress.

I'm so in love with the first pair that are expensive but as you say gawjus! I want them! Where can I get those? Would look amazing with a pair of skinny jeans! I'm such a shoe-a-holic!
If it's a toss up between the two options, I prefer the middle pair in terms of design/print and style but I think the one on the right has the more elegant heel for a bride xxx

the first pair are fab and i hope the uk lady is a better price for you hun! if you can't get the first ones go for the tea and cakes because they are more pink and would go better with your dress, the other ones are quite red and may be too dark for your colours :) gd luck with the uk lady xxx

The lady from the uk posted on my face ache comment that she has indeed received my email and has lots of exciting ideas that she will share with me (via email) later today ...... excited MUCH!!! I have said to her that I would like Mr and Mrs Robinson and the date of our wedding put on them and that I loved the roses as on the shoes in pic 1 .... I wonder what other ideas she has?!
Have just found these and ordered them, they are fab and are made of thai silk so good for painting. Will be wearing them around the flat as much as I can as I tend to wobble when wearing heels!! x
