We did ours yesterday, and loved it. Was so nervous at first because we both hate having pictures taken. I think he probably got more photo's of us yesterday than we have in 7 years. We chatted about it last night and have decided to book him for our wedding which is great because we was going to go without and I have enough in the budget to cover it too.

I've not booked mine yet although photographer has been in touch and has agreed to do it in the location we want (where we actually got engaged). Can i ask if the prints were expensive as i'm a bit worried about that bit... xxx

I think it depends on the photographer ours start from £2.50. We was also offered the photo's on a high res disc for £50,so we could print and share as many as we want. they have come out beautifully and we are going to get the disc and book him on friday.
I would suggest doing it as we were nervouse about having photo's taken and it really has changed our minds.

FYI we are still in the testing stage of the free engagement shoot idea and are currently setting up photographers all across the UK. So far we have 100 set up. When the testing is complete we will email all our existing members to claim their free engagement shoot too xxx

I have my engagement photo shoot on Saturday, he sounds great and has great reviews so already planning on having him as our wedding photographer if all goes well, shows how a good offer can pay off in long run

@Krazykitty - we are about to roll out the scheme to ALL of our members in the next few weeks (I can't be more precise than that because website development on a site this size is so tricky!) When I say ALL Members I actually mean all members who told us on join up that they haven't booked their photographer!
@SarahP295 Yes you can choose from over a 100 at the moment, they are in order of closest to you (and remember you have to visit the photographer, although some may be happy to see you). Most people aren't sure about having their photos taken and fear that they won't look good, but remember all of these 'Host Photographers' are professionals, and will make you look amazing!
@everyone look out for emails and banner adverts over the next week or so, and then follow the simple instructions! We hope you all enjoy our free gift to you, which is our 'thank you' for joining our wonderful website!

Hi Clara - not many in Scotland, we do have Glasgow and Edinburgh covered (although those photographers are getting swamped by the response!) So we do need more!
Hay jenny like it says above its not open to all members yet (will be in the next week or two) basically all new members are asked about photographers on sign up and those who have said they still need one will get an email with a list of the photographers offering the deal! Then they go from there

Missed our photoshoot today as I'm in bed with food poisoning, was able to re-schedule as photographer was very understanding, plus I've had my Venue confirmed today - Yippee, trying to get excited but its having a negative effect on my belly

i just got a message for mine. Really appreciate it but we wont be taking the offer up. Those photos are glorious hun (hugsmore). I dont feel pretty enough to have a photo shoot done, plus we have travelling costs as nearest one 14 miles, then i wouldnt be able to walk away with just our free photo, and we cant afford a photographer for the wedding.
but i was very pleased to be sent the offer, and appreciate of the gesture

ive just got mine there but we booked our photographer the week after we got engaged so we dont need to take the offer up plus we get a photoshoot with our photographer anyway.

I think you get one free picture included hunni but not sure so ask if and when you book then then if you want anymore then you pay for them!
