You don't have to be living together to get married or when you get married. The registrar will just put down the details of both addresses. Normally you can book your resigtra 12 months before the wedding x

You don't need to be living together but you do need to book a registra from the registry office local to your venue asap for your ceremony as they are limited to how many slots they have a day etc. Then nearer the date you have to make an appointment at the registry office local to where you live to give notice of marriage (you can go together but you both have to give notice in person).
Hope this helps! It's all very confusing xxx

if you go on you local council website it will explain it all to you or give the registar a ring and they can go through it all with you on the phone and send you the details in the post.

you dont need to be living together. although me and my husband were living together my postal address was my mums, so i gave that address and it made no difference at all.

you will need to give notice upto 12 months before the wedding so make sure you call them to make an appoitment a few months before a year to go so you get your chosen time/date x
