I have had the same problem when ordering my wedding dress. I have lost a stone and a half and currently I'm a size 14. My wedding dress I order was a size 18 and even then I have 2 inches to loose of my hips. Its depends where ur weight sits? When you lose weight where does it come from first?

I lost 3.5 inches in 3 months with bootcamp, 3 times a week. 8 sounds an awful lot in 6 months - perhaps you should try a severe calorie controlled diet like lighter life, it's drastic though! Can you not order your dress in a different size? A dress size is usually about 3 inches on the waist, so you want to drop about 3 dress sizes with 8 inches!!

I don't have the money to do anything like that! :( I brought my dream dress in the biggest size they had, but still have to loose 8 inches! I've already got the dress but apparently u can buy back panels? X

Maybe see a professional to find out the best way to target the area you need? As bridalmiss says 3 dress sizes in 180 days in gonna be hard? Do know about back panels sorry :-( xxx
