So I was chatting to my cousins wife about the wedding etc. We are getting married at the same registry office as her and my cuz and she has just asked if i knew about having to pay to get the pictures taken :O I didnt know this as no-one has mentioned to me nor have i read about it. She says she had to pay £250. Is this right?? Cause I think if i told h2b that he wouldnt be too happy, we are struggling enoughto get everything paid on time he would freak if i mentioned we needed to pay an extra £250 ontop just to get our wedding pics taken.

It's not unkown for places to charge extra for photography. I was talking to a photographer recently that was saying that the couple had to pay several hundred pounds to have pics taken on the steps to a building - the most picturesque part!!
If only life could be one long tea break

I've never heard about having to pay to have photos at the registry office, but this post has reminded me to contact the council in regards to taking photos in the park that our venue is located. We've heard various things from wedding photographers and our venue that we will need some kind of permit for photography, so have just emailed the council to ask if this is true! Not sure if there is any cost involved though - fingers crossed it's just a form we need to complete and no money required!
