520 for a Sunday.... its cheaper on a Saturday grrrrrr I knwo what you mean about being unavoidable. she said if we dont pay it we dont get married. Wasnt happy when if I stayed in a registry office it would only be 40 quid. It cant cost them 480 in fuel to travel less than a mile away!

cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo

Are these fees for if the registrar comes to your venue? We are having ours in the registrar ceremony room which holds up to 60 its costing £100. But if they come to your venue is is from £243.50 - £323.50 depending on the day of the week. This is the ceremony room its not bad really.

Ive just booked our appt to give notice, and its £70 for that, plus £50 for marrying in an approved premises, then £350 on the day itself. So £470 in total. My dress was only £600! Rip off, but hands are tied.

Thanks Janie, it used to be a bit naff but it had to be moved from the original building because the road was collapsing and its now in to the town hall and has only been open about 12 months so the decor is relatively new.

Ours is £460 and I'm hoping they don't hike the price for 2013! We have paid a deposit so I hope they wouldn't, but I'm sure I've seen posts on here from other b2b's that their prices increased even after paying deposit! xx

I think this is ludicrous how much they charge!!
Ours is £67 to give notice then £400 on the day plus £3 for certificate!!
    That's a Friday wedding too

So so tempted to whizz by the registry office first, then have a blessing at the hotel
I bet they still charge the same though!!!
