Your opinions please ladies, just going through the menu and we cant for the life of us decide what dessert we prefer, dont know how to do a poll so i'll just list them...if it were you which would you choose....thanks in advance
1) Profiteroles with vanilla cream and dark chocolate sauce 2) Citrus tart with a berry coulis 3)Fruits of the forest cheescake
CommentAuthorkirstyless
I'd go for option 1 :) but thats cos I like that lol.
What are you having for starter and main?
CommentAuthorMrsBroady2B
I go for 1 to. NOM NOM. I could just eat that now. :)
CommentAuthorJill
I really like the idea of the citrus tart but it's not something I'd normally go for. Profiteroles would probably be the crowd pleaser, h2b would go for the cheesecake everytime lol x

Starter is either cream of vegetable soup or chicken liver pate and melba toast (cant decide on that either lol, i'd like the pate but think we will end up with the soup) and a traditional roast beef dinner for main course xx
Hmm its a hard decision, cos people love chocolate, but something lighter might be best :S I dunno lol

well as its summer , maybe chocolate might be a bit cacky in your mouth.....I am getting married around the same time as you and took into consideration, that maybe if its hot weather it might be nice to have something cool and refreshing and clean tasting to eat. and also, after a roast beef dinner, something light might be nice to finish off with.
I can resist anything but temptation

I voted for citrus tart as that's what I'd choose if I were one of your guests! But maybe the profiteroles would be a better all-round favourite...? Any chance your venue would agree to do a platter of mini-desserts so you wouldn't have to choose??
CommentAuthorloustew2012
the citrus tart would be better, some people can be funny when it comes to cream and the citrus would be nice after a roast dinner lighten the palate a bit and wont feel too stodgy. x
All the ways of my life id rather be with you.
Theres no way without you.

Madhen i wouldnt dare ask, they are already charging me an extra £8 per head for a the beef dinner as it wasnt originally on the menu, should have been £10 but h2b did some haggling and this was the best we could get it for. extortionate i know. If we want to give a choice of 2 i know its an extra £4,95 per head, as if were not already spending enough hey x

I have voted for the citrus tart as i do not like cream and the tart sounds right up my street xxx
CommentAuthorKirst
I voted citrus tart...tough choice tough as like them all. But think with getting married in August it will be fresh and light. What type of wedding cake are you having? As if having chocolate, go citrus tart, if having fruit or sponge you could have any...sorry that wasnt much help :O) x
CommentAuthorJakesmummy
Lol KIrst we are having a 4 tier with alternative layers of sponge and belgian chocolate xx
