Am I the only one who is just not interested in Bridal underwear? Its ridiculously expensive.
I have my dress and need a good supporting strapless bra (my boobs aren't what they used to be after having Layla)
The thought of having stockings and suspenders just doesn't do it for me. I have my dress which has quite a big train and my veil which is just as long and then my underskirt. I just want soome comfy pants. I'm getting married in July and if the sunshine arrives I'll be too hot.
Is anyone else feeling the same? Or are you splashing out on Bridal Fancies?
I am just going to take lots of nice underwear on my honeymoon

I think comfort always wins. Our dance is til 1am. So i just think as its at my mother in laws in the marquee by the time everyone leaves it'll be quite late. I can't imagine much happeing that night if you know what I mean ;-) ha ha. We need to be up early the next day for our 2nd party xxx

Well I've gone for beautiful but comfy... couldnt be doing with uncomfortable undies. That said, I need a basque to keep my saggies under control - strapless bra just wasnt cutting it - but the basque I have is really comfortable, even if I will be warmer with it on. My gran has always drummed it into me anyway that your underwear should always look good 'just incase I'm in a car accident and they need to cut my clothes off' lol my grans priorities are a bit off lol x

comfort any day i've just bought some ivory knickers nothing else apart from something for the bedroom later which is just some nice silky short pyjama set
i don't know any bride that has worn suspenders and all the rest of it underneath

Oh yeah - I'm not wearing sussies, my basque has detachable sussies but they will be just that - detached. I love the look but I've got fat legs so not only are they uncomfortable but also look hideous, I'm happy to have my gorgeous knickers and basque x

I am going for practicality during the day- my dress is really quite fitted so I cant really wear fancy underwear or it will show through. I am hoping to find a nice chemise or basque for the wedding night though ;-)

Im torn between two dresses at the moment, but wont require a bra with either as the support built in is enough to support my bust. I might go for comfy personalised knicks and bare legs with my peeptoe shoes, plus a garter. And then something more appropriate for the evening :) x x

When i was trying on dresses i was told a proper boned dress should not require a bra if it is fitted correctly... i was slightly paranoid my boobs would come out as im a E cup but no chance when she laced me in properly and felt really secure so saves me some money on my bra and as for Knickers mine are never very big anyway so maybe buy myself a new thong maybe in blue. I am not have a garter as think they are tacky and horrible and the idea of my H2B peeling it off in front of everyone is not good plus when we retire to our bedroom im hardly going to be doing some sexy raunchy striptease... more like trying to unbutton myself with my arms wrapped round my head and falling over as drank too much wine haha !! xx

my h2b emails me every now and again with ideas of what he wants me to wear under my dress, but it all depends on what my dress is like and what undies I can get a way with. I want something saucy as I would be disappointed if we ended our magical day by going back to the room and going to sleep and I know my h2b would be too. I've told him that if my dress won't allow for something saucy then I would get something less comfortable to change into and he's happy with that. I'd rather leave the party early and upset my guests than miss out on some precious alone time together.

i have seen some nice underwear in debenhams just having the bra and shorts though not have any suspenders might have hold ups or just go bare it will be July so don't want to be to hot and sticky.

I have bought some ivory lacey 'bridal' underwear from matalan for £5 and wearing tights. Don't need a bra as my dress has enough support. I wasn't too fussed with special and expensive underwear and these are just fine..pic in album if you wanted to see x

It will be comfy for me through the day. Can't think of anything worse than being pulled in tight to a wedding dress plus have uncomfy fancy knickers annoying me! I will have special underwear for our honeymoon though! ;) x

Oh yes COMFY has my vote! I hate thongs as they look like dental floss lol I like to be comfortable especially if it's hot. I will be buying a new descent strapless bra as I most definitely can't get away with nothing as my knockers are not that of a 18yr old any more. I will be wearing hold ups just for the pics of the garter then they'll be off for the rest of the evening. As for the undies I will be buying a satin pair of french knicks.

i bought a bridal set from La Senza, but its really just a lacy 'push 'em up and shove 'em out' strapless bra with a pair of matching french knickers. i'm not buying stockings and suspenders and I'm not buying anything to wear when we get to our room either as adam has already told me it'll be a waste of money as he'll be too tired and drunk to be interested! haha. The undies I bought are really comfortable too so that's even better. Comfortable all the way for me xxx

i dont find thongs very sexy if im honest i much perfer french knickers or shorts and find these a lot more comfortable.

I agree - it was Asda knickers for me (Bridget Jones style lol) and I didn't need a bra. Tbh it would've been a waste of money anyway, as by the time we got back to our room we both were worse for wear as guests had been buying us drinks all night lol.
