Hi all, I have my first dress fitting in two weeks. I'm not very big on top and am thinking of getting a bit of 'help' in that department, mainly to fill my dress out. Has anyone used 'chicken fillets'?

The sample dress was a little bit big on my bust but fitted nice on my body. When I tried my dress on when it came in I was fastened in so the dress fit my bust but it looked too tight from the back with a funny bulge above the right hip. Now it wasn't a proper fitting but it got me worrying.

I still don't know what underwear to wear, I only had my bog standard undies on when I tried the sample dress on and don't really think I need any special hold in pants like has been mentioned since the sample dress sucked me in, gave me a waist, hid my belly and looked smooth. If my dress is a bit looser at the back maybe chicken fillets would help re the bust area or they alter the dress to fit my bust area.

Have been looking a chicken fillets on the Bay, looks like it's better to pay a bit more for quality ones say about £10?? Some come in all different shapes! I thought they were all the same lol. Help! x x

You could use them but I have been informed by friends that they are very uncomfortable!! Whether they are or not I do not know as I dont have this problem (I am a 32E) but I have heard of brides having padding put into the actual bust area of the dress. This might make it fit better and it still means that you look bigger on top :) xxx

i used them at my first wedding they moved about a bit but its was 9 years ago now so I'm sure they are better have you asked about them putting padding in the bust area of your dress I'm sure my bridal shop said its something that can be done and my dressmaker said she would do that for my maid of honour if she wants as she has lost weight and her boobs have gone down a cup size xx

I am soooo flat chesteed its unreal haha. I have brought the bridal collection from ultimo and that really does make a difference. You just need something to poke out slightly haha and not have a big cleavage so these type of bras are fab for this. I have been advised against using the chicken fillets as you may be tempted to keep adjusting them and the bras do a similar job anyways but dont need adjusting :)

cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo
    start weight 10st 1.5 lbs
    weight now 8st 4.5 lbs
total loss to date: 24.5 lbs now need to maintain!

I bought some a couple of years ago and used to wear them all the time when I went out. I tried on my dress and it was massive around the top as I am only a cup size A and I had one of those bras on with loads of padding.

I love chicken fillets as long as you have a good fitting bra. Too loose and they will move around/fall out. But I have found that those bras that are supposed to make you "2 cups sizes bigger" are better as there is no worry.

I use the silicone ones sometimes. Once you put them in and check they are in the right place they stick to your skin and dont move. Mine are from la senza.
