    Hey girls,

Another thing I am really struggling with is picking underwear. I havent lost as much weight as I had hoped but Ive done ok and slimmed a bit. Im about a size 12 but with a big bum and fairly decent sized bazongas. The insecure part of my brain thinks I should go for practical underwear (aka some form of fat pants) but the fun part of my brain says pick something shexy.

My dress is corseted and I dont know if you can wear a corset under a corseted dress? Also I was wondering if any of you lovely ladies could advise the best type of underwear to go for my shape? Got a wee belly so something to pull that in and push up the b00bs would be ideal.....I think I might be looking for a miracle hahaha

i'm a size 16/18 have a big bottom and a big rack i'm going for a comfy/cutsey pair of ivory pants, no bra no corset nothing as they dress is coresetted enough for me to go without and to be this is the ultimate comfort so i would really just try your dress on first and pull it in tight and see what shape it gives you then decide

Thats an idea actually, I could go up to the room before my man couldnt I......Im guessing I'll need help to get out of the dress anyways.....

The only thing is, I kinda wanted to have suspenders on during the day, can you get fat pants that arent like shorts?

I was told to not wear fat pants as they ride too high up your waist for you to be able to go to the loo during the day in your wedding dress! A basque may be ok but sometimes if you have boning in that as well as your dress you can get a funny profile - so I'm just wearing a strapless underwire bra and normal pants for comfort - my dress is A-line so hopefully the skirt will hide my belly :-)

I just found a pair of fairly small fat pants I might wear them with my stockings and no bra (cos my dress is corseted) and change into my shexy gear after.

I just always imagined wearing the full on gear under my wedding dress but its not really practical :-( If I had pulled my finger out and lost the weight I was intending to it would be fine but I am a lazy chocolate lover so that went out the window lol!!

i would think you would find going to the toilet hard to especially with a corset and spanx the dress corset should pull you in quite a bit anyway the dress i have picked pulled me in really nice and flatted my tummy out really well and the sample dress was actually a size to big so when i get my own dress should look really good.

i think the best thing for you to do is get the different types of under wear to try on with your dress and see which is best for you

Having been in a dress in +30C heat for 10 hours, my advice would be go for comfort! I did and to be honest we were both so tired after all the goings on of the day, we opened our cards and left our presents for the morning and went straight to sleep LOL! I did however take some 'special' underwear on our honeymoon ;)

I'd say go for comfort all the way!! My friend got married over here in January and by the evening reception she was so warm she'd taken off all her underwear and literally just had her dress on!!

I'm glad i read this as i had honestly not even considered taking something s£xy on honeymoon!! Oops!! I was just considering the wedding night panties etc.

i would say comfort as well. it will be a long day and might b uncomfortable if you go for sexy and maybe difficult to go to the toilet in. keep the sexy till the night or the honeymoon.

I agree, comfy on the day as you want to be able to enjoy the day then turn up the heat on the honeymoon. Your other half already loves you for who you are, he won't care what you're wearing underneath as you will no doubt stun him with how gorgeous you look in your wedding dress!

From experience I'd say go with comfort. I didn't need a bra with my dress, but for pants I definitely wore my Bridget Jones comfort fits lol. They didn't ride up or stop me using the loo either - but I was comfortable all day and still could use the loo when I needed to.

And another tip - either prepare for a night of drinking and no passion, or talk it over with your h2b about what you're expecting from your wedding night. We were drinking from around 5pm and had already discussed that we'd probably just crash out by the time we got to our room - which saved me having to buy 'shexy' undies as well lol.

good point mym, if the drinking is all day long you def needn't worry about looking 'shexy' for your comatose h2b come the early hours...! ;)

Hey girls, sorry I missed all your comments yesterday. I agree - its gunna be comfy pants for the day and I can change at night. My man is tee total but I am not hahah. So it might be me thats too drunk to do anything :-) I dread getting in and out of that dress drunk! Thanks for your help girls :-)

I might go for hold ups, fat pants and a garter. I dont think I need a bra underneath my dress. I am off to mum and dads to try it on again tonight with some heels so I'll take my fat pants too :-)

This forum is a godsend honestly, I probably wouldve struggled through the entire day in all the gear just cos I thought you were supposed to lol! Now I feel better knowing you guys are planning to wear comfies during the day :-) He'll never know if I change before bedtime :-)
