im just wonderin if any of your h2b's asked anything specific like destination or type of activity for your honeymoon or whether they left it all up to you? i was pleasently surprised at what mine said :-)

We have 2 children and I couldn't leave then for more than 2 night's. And that's hard enough!!!! As we are getting married on a Friday I thought it would be nice if we just stopped in a cottage in the lake district (I love it there) for 2 nights. Then a couple of months down the line, providing we can both get some more holiday time off together as we work in the same place, I want to take the kids Disney Land Paris. I know it don't sound like much of a Honeymoon but my kids mean the world to me plus I love all things Disney and really really really want to go back. :) x

h2b's mam n dad have offered to pay for our honeymoon and send my son with us they were wanting to send us to mexico but i think the flight is too long for my son to bare so they have suggested thailand but h2b said to have a look and pick where we want to go, cant believe how lucky i am to to be becoming part of there family its a really lovely thing for them to do for us :) xxx

Don't think we will be having one as won't be able to afford it, especially after paying for a wedding. I can relate to you Mrs Broady, we have a 7 year old and can't afford to take him on holiday so if we were to go somewhere he would have to come with us or I would feel like an awful mum! Lol!

he said he doesnt care where we go as long as it has shopping, a spa and me! so were going to kuala lumpar for ten days to the golden triangle! so excited :-) and only 2,500 for both of us for that long. i think thats a bargain.

we were a bit undecided as to where to go, we went to the Maldives last year and although it was absolutely stunning, im not much of a lounge by the pool person so couldnt do that for more than 10 days, so we have decided to go to Florida for 3 weeks and do all the parks! :0) we are big kids at heart lol x

The wedding was left to me to decide all the things I wanted , and the honey was left to H2B......and he booked Las Vegas. I dont really fancy it TBH, I wanted a nice romantic & relaxing beach holiday, but a deals a deal.

We are going to Benalmadena Spain where we went last year, there's so much to do we didn't have time to do it all last time. Also the flight is not too long as we're both a bit nervous of flying. I think we both just made the decision to go back there, I can't wait, you've got your beach, your pool, shops, the Marina, boat trips, the park, cable cars up the mountain, theme park, the old town, trip to the old village in the hills, train along the coast, water park next door at Torremolinos...you get the idea lol :)
We have just booked ours...took ages to decide, as want the weather but cant do lounging by the pool everyday, so wanted to be able to visit places while we were there and do stuff! We decided on Mexico, going to Riveria Maya, inbetween Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, so we can visit both places and there are lots of excursions that sound fab (if we have any money left by that point!) Soo excited now x x x

We are going on safari in kenya and then to Zanzibar - we went to kenya a few years ago and both said then we would have to go back for our honeymoon and have booked an extra special safari. We both dive so we will be doing lots of diving and snorkelling in zanzibar :) I think im looking forward to it more than the wedding lol

I would love to go to Italy, either the lakes or to Sorrento. I dont think H2B is too keen, I think he would rather lie on a beac in the carribean for 2 weeks!

We're going to Las Vegas, San Francisco and San Diego over about 12 days. We've said it's Vegas for the lights, tack and Grand Canyon, San Francisco for the culture, Alcatraz and the cable cars and San Diego for the sun, beach and the zoo! I cannot wait. We're not beachy/sun people really we wanted to visit cities. We are however big Man vs Food fans so v. interested in the meals! Haha!

our honeymoon was paid for by OH's parents. we are going to Tunisia, we just asked at the travel agent for somewhere hot at that time of year. We are going 4* all inclusive and the only trip that my OH wants to do is go to the dessert where star wars and the phantom menace was filmed.

Well h2b has decided he wants to book the honeymoon as a suprise but I have given him some rules. It must be abroad (he has never been) and either all inclusive or half board. Going to speak to his sister and make sure he does as he is told.

we may just have our wedding night in a hotel, we wont be going away anywhere. But after everything for the wedding is paid we plan to save for a holiday to gran canaria where my oh has family, we figure this will take about 5 years to save for.

I wanted a long weekend on Italy but he wanted the Caribbean for a fortnight. So we ended up with 10 days in Cuba! I am so scared to leave my kids but everyone says that we won't get the chance again (which I know is true) so hopefully I will enjoy some us time. When we return we will have 6 weeks before we go away again - with the children on a familymoon... destination yet to be decided. The kids want to go to Mablethorpe, I was thinking Portugal/Tenerife.We shall see, will be a late deal anyway. x

i think we will just book a villa some where warm for a week h2b doesn't like large crowds so doesn't want to stay in a big hotel so think this will be the best option for us i would like one were i don't have to spend my time cooking a cleaning though its a honeymoon after all. my sister and brother in law are going to have my girls for a week might see if my eldest grandparents want to take her for a couple of weeks they do have her in the summer now and again and shes likes to be spoilt with all the attention splitting them up makes them easier to manage lol x

Mrs B2B!!! Hear they are lovely Hotels and perfect for honeymooners...we looked at the Seaside Suites too. Couldnt decided for ages which one to book. Not staying in the Casitas Section as was a little out of our budget, but did opt for a Swim-Up suite. Fingers crossed is lovely. You'll have to let me know what the Seaside Suite is like when you get back x x

we were looking at thailand but same due to rainy season picked malaysia as it's less likely to rain even though it's still monsoon season :-) i have decided that if we save up enough by november we are going to thailand as well probably for xmas as a second honeymoon :-)

We are staying in this country for honeymoon, taking the kids somewhere hot in august hopefully. For honeymoon just the 2 of us are leaving early on monday to go to alton towers for the day, then carry on up to north cumbria to a log cabin complete with row boat for the lake and hot tub on the decking.... There we will relax... with some walks around the lakes etc thrown in. On the friday we drive across country to a posh hotel in scarborough (classic british hotel company, very lush) and from there we plan to sightsee in york and whitby and come home on the sunday evening.
