My original UK colour scheme was purple, black and silver-Now we are going to get married in cyprus I dont want those colours for our 'beach/outdoors venue' abroad

It sounds nice but Im not too fussed on yellow as a main colour, maybe as some small details though I guess it would look nice enough

I like bridalmiss's idea! Or you could have another bright sunny colour to contrast with the turquoise if you didn't want yellow - maybe a pink or coral or orange if you really love brights?

If it's your fave colour definitely go with purple :)
IMO a lighter purple would be nicest & not too intense but that's just me - I'm sure in the sunshine of Cyprus whatever shades of those colours you pick will look gorgeous :) Xx

I actually think purple would look better with the greeny turquoise than the bluey one, bridetobe2013, so that might work well :)
