Been to my venue today to go through everything and the events lady there thinks I should have swags on the top table as she said no matter how much they iron the table clothes they will never be crease free and the table would look really plain with just white on it but I don't really like swags think they will ruin the whole vintage look I want are there any alternatives??
How about using :- a lace type material? a runner? A added coloured cloth the other way? (my gran always did this for sunday dinners, lol) eg.

I know a lady who specialises (sp?) in vintage decor and I'm sure she has swags??? I'll leave her link on your wall hunni have a look at her work and have a word with her see what she thinks. Her work is STUNNING.

I like the lace idea its only for top table too so dont need to find it for every table
i dont like the swags think its a bit overdone nowadays so were having a flower arrangement then italian ivy gone down each end of the table instead of a swag! x

Thats what I think want something more suttle thinking maybe bunting or lace swag??
