Wedding Forum - Who can read the draft??...

i'd quite like to do a wee speech. i wasn't keen before, but i've got through a few wee things in my head and i think it could have a few wee laughs

i've lost both my parents and it's kinda a running joke with my close friends that i bring it up at every opportunity to get attention. i'd be mentioning them anyway (important family members who couldn't be there), but i hope to have a few of my friends laugh at me bringing them up AGAIN...especially as all the attention is on me anyway lol

h2b isn't keen on making a speech, which i think i'm ok with. he's now said that he wants to do a first dance, but hates the thought of people watching him, but the speech is just too much for him.

i wouldn't show h2b my speech before hand, bt would really like to run through it with someone. are there any rules who should and should not see the speech before??

Your MOH is there to help with anything you need but like Stevie_Dee said no rules about us seeing and helping. And we will try and be as honest as possible. x

I did a speech and although was a bit nervous I really am glad I did it! I made it quite funny, kept it short and I know my Hubby appreciated that I told him how wonderful he was too!
I got some ideas from a website and borrowed some of the humour from the speeches I found. ;)
