I am getting married in Malta, then on my return to the UK I am planning to do another reception. Should I send an invite for both events or should I send an invite for each event?
I am so excited for the wedding, I cannot wait. Thank god I found a good wedding planner who reassures me every step of the way. I am using ************************** Definetly recommened
Wish me luck ;-)

It sounds lovely Julie. We had our honeymoon in Malta and it was just perfect. We got married in Gretna, had our honeymoon then our evening reception when we got home to Leeds. We sent out separate invites for both events - as we had a small wedding with just close family, then the evening reception was for everyone else (extended family, friends etc).

I was wondering the same, I was also thinking how soon they should be sent out?? We want to get married in Cyprus either in June or Sept next year, I'll need to get the invites out for the people I want there sooner than later to see who can afford to come and give enough time to book and save-sort time off work in advance etc-If I can let people know a year or more in advance even better so need to sort out dates etc soon!
I plan on doing a sit down meal/reception when we return for family and friends who couldnt come, I would like to wear my wedding dress again but then would feel abit silly as we would of already married? I'll send those invites out around 3months in advance.

Planning to perfection <3

bridetobe2013 - I felt a bit like that about my wedding dress at our evening reception - but after a lot of people wanting to see it (especially the ones who didn't come to the wedding) I wore it for about half of the night. Once I'd managed to chat to most people and they'd seen it, I changed into another dress so that I could have a dance etc.
