After trawling the bay of e, I found a company that will provide chair covers including sashes for £1 per chair. They deliver and pick up, but I dont think they fit. They are a new company so their website is under development and apparently they deliver all over the country. They are delivering mine to Scotland and they are in manchester. I've put the website address on my wall for anyone interested.

that is a bargain indeed, and even if you need to fit them yourself I am sure you can find someone in family who will gladly do it for you, or maybe even staff at venue.

Are they cotton or stretchy? I briefly had a job fitting them and stretchy are so much better they fit loads of chairs and don't need ironing the cotton ones don't fit many chairs and do need ironing. The sashes themselves are quite easy once you get into the rythm of it. Depending on how many you have I wouldn't reccomend doing it yourself just incase you end up with bow tie-ers thumb.

I looked at a company doing them for a £1 but decided i would rather pay £2.50 and have them fitted and all done for me rather than someone else having to stress over it on the wedding day plus tying those bows is hard i would guess?!

I would order some more than you need. Sometimes the odd one comes back from the laundrette dirty still as they are stained.
If they do fit them for you I wouldn't worry though we always used to take more than needed then if spotted a mark when fitting take it off and throw it in a pile to be cleaned again.

Thanks Katie, Ill bear than in mind. millz090 I youtubed how to tie the bows and it doesnt look so hard. Also the venue have said they can help with stuff like this if I need. I think its a good deal overall, but I know what you mean about not wanting the stress. also we are allowed to set up the night before and we dont get married until 2pm so plenty of time I think x
