I'm lucky iv now not gotba 100day time guests as ppl.cnt come n it been cut from 10 tables to 7 but what a headache.... n im it 10persons per table n i think it looks nice with the full amount but arrrggghhh.... How have u all done with urs n has it been easy or pain in the ****..... n does anyone have tips? xxx

we have 75 guest and its all family, we have been lucky that only a hand full of them dont get on and im putting them all at seperate tables at diffrent corners of the room away from anyone! so no snide comments or dirty looks can be seen or heard unless they actually physicaly walk towards each others table and non of them have the guts to do such a thing they would rather be miles away doing and saying stupid things!

lol i dnt have a choice h2b doesnt find him annoying or embarrassing but i do! he just has a large potty mouth but iv had to put him on a table with my friends n they have children n i cant put him on a table with some other friends cos an argument might break out..... n even though its our day ppl still dnt learn to keep their mouths shut... :( i didnt think it wud b this hard when u get friends that just dnt get on anymore n argue its just life i suppose haha get on with it is all i can do... n if his mouth turns potty tell my friends to tell him to shut up or go to the other bar. mazi86 um gonna have to do that 2 n if words are said in toilets or other bars not my problem im gonna enjoy my day. xxx

We've already decided that people who misbehave will be out. It's not difficult to act like adults for one day, they dont need to talk to each other and family or not, if there's any nonsense, h2b has said he'll chuck them out by the ears. I dont want any trouble but would find it hilarious to see someone chucked out by the ears haha x

kastobe i love your idea of a 'naughty table'.Think i may have one of these and then anyone who doesn't tow the line can be relegated to it....even h2b if he annoys me lol.
samitrev2b i have not started mine properly yet as invites haven't even gone out but i agree it could be a minefield...even thinking about mine gives me a headache.H2bs family have a massive rift but H2b loves them all so has invited them all (as he should)So we have lots of people who we cannot seat together or in each others eyeline lol! Have you tried the tableplanner on this site,its great for trying out different seating combinations. xxx

We didn't do ours til about a week before the wedding, and were re doing it until the night before cos of people asking if they can bring their kids, and other people saying they're not coming last minute etc. My advice would be to leave the table plan til as close to the day as you can x

Argh mines been a nightmare too, 6 weeks to go and 3 table plans later someone else has dropped im in it! im just waiting until a few days before now incase anyone else decides they aren't coming x

Sil2b is a bit of a nightmare, but my very good friends have said i can put her on a table with them and they will keep an eye on her and make sure she behaves lol.....
Maybe you could discuss with someone close who you trust and ask if they can do you the favour of sitting at a table with this person and keeping them in check?

I am also trying to sort out table plans, I have decided that my 2 older bridesmaids are sitting with their husbands and
my younger one with her parents on the same table. The reason being is the husbands won't know anybody and the young bridesmaid
will feel awkward sitting on the top table so I'm putting there table just at the front or side of ours. We are having a get together meal in March with my 2 older bridesmaids and their hubbies, The bestman and his wife so that they can at least be acquainted before the wedding and not feel un-easy sitting at the same table. I attended the bestman's wedding last June and I had to sit on a table with 6ppl I had never met before and it felt horrible as did standing in the church all by myself. If they had done a pre-wedding meal to introduce us I might of felt more relaxed.

Anyway I'm hating the table planning part as can't decide whom to sit where as I want to mix the families

we had a sweetheart table that just me and hubby sat at so we could spend some quality time having our meal and talking about the day, it was lovely as I felt I didn't have to share our special conversation with anyone else! I had long tables and sat all his side on one table, all mine on the other table headed by our parents. I then sorted the other tables out into friends, long tables were easier than round as you can sit people who might not get on at opposite ends! lol The venue was brilliant and all the tables had different amounts of people at them to fit in with my plan.
I know it's a headache when you're planning it, but people should behave themselves and respect they are at your wedding or not come! ;)
