Does anyone know any websites where I can look up civil ceremony vows?

The ones that can with the registry pack are rubbish!! And me and H2B are quiet shy about speaking in front of people as it is so dont really want to write our own. x

Have u tried search engines? I know how u feel I dreading the time I have to do my vows as I'm rubbish at thinking of stuff like thay, if not speak to your family asked if they have any advice on what you could say xx

I've tried googling vows before and couldn't find much at all. I was hoping the ones from the registry pack would be better lol. Maybe you could just tweak the registry ones to suit you better?

or type non religeous vows ? We got a booklet from the registrar but they did say they had other examples and to just ask. Give them a ring to see if they having anything extra. They're constantly collecting new vows ready for their next publication x

we googled endless ones, for a civil partnership though, and eventually found the words on the local registry office website!

Not sure if there are vows for yours there, but if you google gateshead registry office, and download thier information pack, it was in there.

I think I'm going to be really fussy with vows. I don't like the "All that I am and all that I have" type ones cause they're cheesy as. And I don't like "because of you I dare to dream again" or "Today we two become one." cause they sound so co-dependant.

Gonna take a lot of looking around lol but it is good for ideas! Will probably end up writing our own at this rate :)

Write your own! I like reading them for inspiration but I don't think I woukd take one exactly as it is. Curently I like one the official one because it makes it officialto me :-)
Might add short words of my own. From that site I do like this one

That ones not bad, not keen on the music and celebration bit- but it is short, to the point and not cringe worthy!
