The past 2 nights I've had wedding related dreams, and both have involved me ending up with no veil :( I didn't realise I was worrying so much over a veil!!

And last nights has triggered something in me that never occurred to me before, and that is to do with the nerves I will feel on the day! Walking down that aisle with everyone looking at me wouldn't usually bother me, but for some reason, I'm now petrified!

Also, as much as I'm looking forward to it so much and want it here right now, I've now got it in my head that I'm going to feel so deflated and have nothing to look forward to after the actual day :( Despite the fact we are going away for 4 nights in a log cabin with our own private sauna and hot tub, then have a proper honeymoon to look forward to later on in the year, and then will hopefully be moving house to be closer to my mum, and trying for a baby!

Feel a bit deflated now :(

i think wedding dreams are normal, I've been having them for a while! Although every single one of mine has ended up with Adam being late, or not turning up at all! (his timekeeping is rubbish!) xxxx

Ive had a few wedding nightmares too, one of which i woke up in tears as it involved me not having anywhere to get ready and my h2b ruining the whole morning so bad that i didnt even make it to the church!!!! I think the dreams are just a way of us all dealing with the massive amount of stress from planning a wedding.
In response to the feeling deflated after the wedding, that is only natural afterall planning a wedding takes up so much of your life. To help you why not plan little things to do it the days and weeks after the wedding, I know you have a minimoon booked but what about a night with friends, a dinner out just the 2 of you, a day at a spa etc, that way you will be filling the time when you would have been doing wedding stuff with lovely exciting things with your new husband.
    hope this helps xx

Thats a good idea :) Like I said, we have our minimoon sorted, and will have moving house to focus on, and then baby making times! haha! But the little things you mentioned are true :) Thank you xx

Ohhh we are also honeymooning in a log cabin with private hot tub, overlooking a lake so we have our own row boat as well :) we will be there monday to friday (following a pit stop at alton towers on the monday) then friday to sunday we are in a luxery hotel on the coast of scarborough. Cant wait.... and have asked for thomas cook vouchers for an epic family holiday later in the year!

I have had several wedding day nightmares, i think its normal. I think its our subconcious brains preparing us for all the worst eventualities maybe.
The first one, i had no dress :(
The second one h2b called it all off and moved back with his parents.
The third one no one turned up and i was doing all the food myself on the morning of the wedding, hardly had any food so had to do emergency adsa run (?!) and then arrive at venue without getting ready as i hadnt had time.

Ive just remembered one of my other wedding nightmares, I had to cancel the wedding the day before as i had forgotten to send out the invitations!!!!! and no one was coming!!! Totally freaked me out to the point I forced h2b to start making the invites with me so i would have them finished in time!!!
Weddings really are a stressful time!!

blondmumma.. you sound so much like me in the respect of what our mini moons are! we've asked for thomas cook vouchers too!
might see if we can go to alton towers on one of the days now you mention it!!

I hate these dreams. They're only dreams and not real, but it makes you think more doesn't it! The one last night had a packed church, but full of people from school and they kept going outside and then back in. And my h2b turned into a girl and the vicar wouldn't marry us cause she couldnt confirm her DOB cause on the paper it was smudged!
