After looking at so many different types of favours I decided to go back to what i know best and am going to make personalised bracelets in handmade gift boxes for the lady guests, still not 100% for the men, what is everyone else doing?

Thats sounds like a good idea. We are having little yankee candles for the ladies and im making fudge for the men as i figured men are not too bothered about the favours so if they got left behind my H2B would quite happily have them :)

We're having crackers, inside will be a little bottle of bubbles, some flower petals, wedding related jokes and a little something else (don't know what but any ideas welcome). Was going to pop chocolates in there but my place cards are going to be chocolate lillipops :) x

Wow love all your ideas ladies! I am giving the ladies a butterfly necklace as it goes in with my theme but not sure what to give the men! and what about kids? I've got 14 coming to my wedding i'm doing them each their own party bag as individual as they are. I thought maybe I would get bottle openers for the men?

for the ladies Ive got Egg shaped bath bombs and will be placing each individual bomb in an easter patterned cellophane bag and then tying closed with twine which has a wooden egg shaped tag (which has a heart cut out of the middle). The men are having whiskey miniatures with the tag tied round the neck of the bottle.

We are doubling these up as Place-cards and writing the guest names on one side of the wooden egg and then wedding details on the other.

Working on a 3 dream plan for the next 5 years!
    Dream 1 = My gorgeous Mr P proposed - 4/9/11 Sydney Harbour
Dream 2 = Getting Married Easter 2012 by Bonnie Loch Lomond
Dream 3 = Working on that dream life in Australia

I was going to give the ladies small candles, but we have decided to give everyone including the kids, handmade fudge in a little ivory coloured box decorated with a thistle and tartan bow.

aw that sounds lovely... think the most random favours i have at home are little tiny painted ceramic pots with lids with the bride and groom's names and wedding date on them...they're cute but they sort of just sit there...

I have little glass jars with cork lids and ingredients to make lavender bath salts for the ladies.

For the boys i have little ivory buckets that I will fill with sweets, maybe millions as they come in lilac and I hate Palma violets.

Both containers have printable labels, I don't know whether to put their names on or just our name and date?

    I'm now a married woman
    I have a gorgeous husband
    Whats to do now
Theres no more wedding planning to do

For our ladies I've made miniature pink & cream padded heart keyrings from felt and gorgeous cath kidston fabric. I've scented them with vanilla too so they smell yummy! They're in either pink or lilac favour bags, with a mini roll of lovehearts. The men are getting bubbles, 5 chocolate heart shaped dragees and also some mini love hearts.

I really want bath bombs for the ladies but it all depends on the price and I said to H2B about making chilli vodka for the men as you can buy the cheap one and it only takes two weeks to make and i grow my own chillies so we can use them.

MrsClarke2be sounds like you have been very creative too and loving the sound of the ceramic pots madhen. Its amazing how many different ideas there are. We've got quite a few kids coming so I'm going to have a separate childrens table with activities for them to do but no glue or glitter lol
