Hi all I have a total of 17 kids at our wedding ages ranging from 1-16!! Our ceremony room is to be turned into a room for the kids. So far for them I have giant snakes and ladders and I'll be asking to borrow my mil's giant jenga. There will also be a tv so kids can watch a DVD, any other ideas of what I can put in there as I know kids get bored easily and they will have to last until midnight. I am also giving all my guests including the kids the same chocolate favours but want to put a small box/bag of things for them so they don't get bored during the speeches. Any ideas what I can include for different ages? I won't give anything for my bro and sis who are 14/16 as they will be fine but the ages 1-10 maybe? Any ideas appreciated xx

I've ordered some colouring books from amazon, different ones for different ages. I think they cost on average about £1.50. I got a puzzle/logical thinking book for the 10 year old. I've also got some packs of old fashioned kids card games that they can play at the table. I've also bought little bits of dressing up stuff for the younger ones like a pirate hat or tiara. These are from a party bag range in a popular supermarket! I'll also give them bubbles and maybe a cheap disposable camera. There is a good thread on here about a photo hunt for kids that may be useful!

Lego! We have it in the shop, keeps the kids quiet for ages - meaning that the mums have more time to browse.

Loving the Lego idea, though doubt the kids would get a look in for my wedding, h2b would be building stuff all day. x

What about for the age of 1-2 I have 3 that I want to get something for to keep them entertained at the table x Lego is a great idea but obviously the younger ones would put it straight in their mouths lol

or you could get instead of lego big boxes of mega blocks as these are great for the little ones as they can still take part but older ones can to :) x

If you fancy something messy you could get them decorating their own cupcakes/biscuits... we've got cute little photo albums and disposable cameras for the kids too... :) xxxx
