Hi everyone im have a very very small wedding with only about 30 - 40 guests the whole day, so theres isnt enough guests to have a dj so im looking into alterntive entertainment to keep everyone amused.
I really need help as im rubbish with ideas, we will be letting off chinese lanterns but thats not going to use up anytime at all.
I suggested to my h2b about hiring in a company that can do roulette, poker ect so kind of a mini casino which he liked the idea of and thought that would be a good laugh but when i mentioned it to the rest of the family most of them said they probably wouldnt like that so i dont want to waste money on something knowone will use.
if anyone has any ideas that would keep everyone amused it would be a HUGE help :-)
    Thanks xx

I like the mini casino idea. We are having the same number of guests and are screening a film since both of us hate to dance and we love film. How about some dancers? Or you could keep the evening reception very casual with low level music and lots of wine and comfy chairs. x

What about a singer/duo/band, they will provide background music but can still get people up onto the dance floor?

    A caricaturist?

    A magician?

We are having a small wedding too and we are getting married in a castle and they provide a historian who can take a few people around the castle at a time and tell them all about its history, which is a bit different. You could hire a caricaturist as they seems really popular, a fortune teller, a comedian or a magician?

How about a caricaturist? We have having one, and I can send you details. They get to keep the drawings which doubles up as a personalised wedding favour xxx

Hi ladies, thanks didnt think of a caricaturist thats a really good idea, rafwife would you send me the details please? The room were having our reception is a restaurant but it has a little lounge area with sofa's and they are putting a little dance floor down for the kids so we will just be using our own music so it will be casual with lots of drink hehe but a caricaturist sounds good, one of my kids nursery teachers is married to a human lie detector, he used to be on the trisha goddard show & she says he can read your mind through your palm so i might find out about him too xx
