if u think about it where is 95% of clothes including wedding dresses bridesmaids dresses shoes etc made??? u will find teh answer is china so i think its pretty much a safe bet tbh i have ordered bridesmaid dresses from ebay from china and i think quality is fantastic in both material and design xxx

the good thing about that online auction site is other people leave feedback. ALWAYS thouroughly check the feedback! Thats all i can say. IF theyre lots of good comments then thats a good thing.

if you are thinking of china, just a bit of advise.. it is new year over there at the moment and some companys will not be working til beginning of feb i ordered mine at beginning of nov it is ready for dispatch but no couriers are working over there yet.

Sadly you can not trust the auction site's feedback as I have heard so many stories of people wanting a refund because the dress was horrendous & the seller bribing them by only giving them a refund if they give positive feedback! This is also on the ChinaDress discussion x

i bought my dress online after trying it on in a well known high street shop, simply because the one in the shop had clearly been tried on multiple times and looked a bit tired. i couldn't be happier with my dress, it arrived all pristine and beautiful in pink tissue paper, it came with free hanger and proper zip-up dust cover which i was not expecting

There is a site I have been looking at I believe it is called wedding dress shop online or something along these lines. I have read the reviews and all seems to be fine. I am looking to order 4 bridesmaid dresses from it. Slightly nervous as when I looked into the company they are based in China, however, I guess that should not make any difference. I am just worried if anything is wrong with the dress i.e colour not quite right, sizes etc I cannot send them back as they will only accept refunds if there is something majorly wrong. Don't think Dave would be too impressed if I spend £500 on dresses to find its not the right thing :-I but guess there is only one way to find out lol

i bought mine from the bay of e it wasnt from china it was from a bridal boutiqe and was a sample dress ,it should have been 3500 and i got it for 300 have u thought of looking at some dresses in wedding shops then look on the bay you will proberly be surprised , i know i was :) pics in my album xxxx

Are you not going to answer all theses questions and allegations that all these people including myself are putting to you? Why are you providing customers cheap quality goods and telling them that it's high quality? Why have you taken pictures from a liable website claiming that you made the dress and can make the same dress for £80 when the dress is worth $550.00? When you didnt even make the dress in the first place? Why are you NOT providing people with FULL REFUNDS that they are entitled too? Why are you provideing people with false information? Why are you lying to people? Why are you scamming people? Why are you telling people that you are based in th UK, when in fact you are a sweat shop in China scamming innocent people all over the world? Why is there not a contact number for people to call? Why are telling the manager doesnt speak to customers? All these people can't be all wrong, can they?
ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS!!! explain the poor quality work? no dress that is custom made looks like that. If the time and care is taken to make the dress.
we are not going anywhere and we will not give up!

It was quite fuuny though, as that woman posted on EVERY comment anyone made nasty stuff....a woman scorned lol
This is why I am so scared about buying online and want a reputable supplier / dressmaker. I can only afford to make one buy in my budget, I will need it custom made as I am quite busty...whuch worries me about returns, as all of the websites are saying custom made...NO RETURN!!

Oh my well there goes the bridesmaid dresses I picked. Hopefully can find similar ones elsewhere. I would be devestated if I lost £500 + I genuinely thought that due to them using pay pal that all would be ok but I don't think I am going to chance it. Dave for one would have a heart attack if I lost over £500
I will just need to keep looking and I am sure I will find similar dresses :-)
If any of you ladies can suggest genuine places that would be great. Just post it onto my wall.

BHS and debenhams have wedding attire sales on at the moment. And some of the high street stores have sales, and have dresses that would be suitable for a wedding.
not all the sellers on the bay are bad, as suggested you could look for ex sample stock, also the bay of e has some sellers that are bridal boutiques closing down and have thier dressed cheap too.
Another thing you could do is find out when local boutiques have thier sales.

Hiya, good idea, but the problem I have is that most of the ex sample stuff are model sizes the same as the shops. It's very hard to get a sample or sale dress in the size I need. Sad really as I class my self as normal size, but according to samples curvy women shouldn't be getting married, or they would stock more realistic sizes xx

well i hope to be a size 16 by the time of the wedding, am WAY WAY over that at the moment. According to most shops a sie 16 is big!

I am the same Rafwife. I am quite busty and find I need a 16 on top however a 12 at the bottom. Horrific for dresses etc. We will get there though. I have added e dresses onto my facebook and I am going to keep a close eye on them.
