hey guys, was thinking a lot about our wedding and we dont really have a theme as such but have taken ideas from the pride and prejudice sort of time era (other than my dress which doesnt quite fit that theme haha). Now I am at a bit of a loss on how to sort everything so it really does blend well. We have: 1. Venue of a similar time period, 2. String quarter though wondering if a harpist would have been better fitting, 3. Hopfully the groom and men in proper tails with the striped pants, 4. White flowers everywhere with huge white centre pieces but without candelebras as its summer wedding but now wishing we had done this, only two candelabras which will be either end of the top table. 5. Rose candles as favors which are also rose scented. 6. A cake that I THINK goes with the theme.
Is there anything I have overlooked or may need to include? Please see albulms for ideas on what we have done tho not scanned flowers or suits in yet.

thanks hun, I just think maybe I ruined it with my dress haha. Also cant think of place names. I was thinking of the characters but some ppl maybe offended if I put them at the collins table for example haha

I bought a lace effect/patterned umbrella today, so if it's sunny I can have a parasol, and if it's raining I can have an umbrella that looks like a parasol!
When I think of this era I think, reading rooms, fireplaces, card tables, formal gardens, gloves, hats, pretty dresses, food.

Have you seen the episode of Dont tell the bride where they had a pride and prejudice theme? it was fab, great idea for the theme. Are you getting a wedding dress with the same style cut as was fashionable in the time? that would look lovely too x

no I dont think I have seen that DTTB? Unless I have and not been paying too much attention as I am normally planning lessons in the background as most of them are repeats. Will have to keep an eye out for it. No the wedding dress is the only think that I am worried about as I dont think it goes. Pic in profile.
Can I have the link for the lace parasol? I think thats a brill idea. We are having the bridal breakfast in the drawing room which was where they would have done a lot of the reading and we are sat in front of the fireplace. Nice big garden and we are having canapes but I dont like the look of them. I like simple food and they are too posh for me, probs wont eat them.
