As many of you know I've been engaged 4 years and we haven't set a date!
I joined this great community back in October and since then the brain juice has flowed and the ideas keep coming.
I started selling things on the bay to get some money to maybe get him to commit to setting the date, along with dropping hints, and even our friends have started to join in with us!!!!
AND Finally the other day I got a text off him, fair enough it's not proper proof he's going to sit down with me and set a date, but he did say I had to change my ways or there will be no wedding?! (I've been doing 13hour shifts at work for the last 2-3 weeks so let the housework slide, he's done his share too but i haven't pulled my weight! I will make up for it this weekend)
i just wanted to shout from the rooftops that he's mentioned the W word to me..... now for our works xmas do tomorrow which happens to be at a venue I would consider for the reception/the full day!!

To me when someone asks a question like 'Will you marry me?' it means will you marry, in that you actually get married and don't put it off! Why bother asking. Now that he's mentioned it, it may be your chance to pin him down to set the date! good luck bex :) x

I would definitely say when you're at the Xmas party to say that you really like the venue as a possibility to be your reception. And mention this in front of people. I would b dropping hints gallore!!! x
