Hi Girls! Im having a right stress trying to decide whether i will wear high and glam heels, which will look so much better than stubby kitten heels. BUT i know my feet will be killing and thats the last thing i want during the day! What do you think??

I would really love to wear high and glam heels too but like you will know my feet will be killing, so I've opted for the stubby kitten heels. I think that for most of the time they will be hidden under my dress so have decided comfy is better!

From someone that did both...heels in Vegas and Vegas sneakers for UK...go for comfort!!! Everytime. No one will see what you're wearing under the dress anyway. If you desperately want the sexy, glam heels, then you can always get them for some honeymoon fun

I am doing both too. High and sparkly for the ceremony and meal, will put them back on for the first dance cause that will be the first good look night folk get at my dress, but after that its onto ballet pumps!

Just low all day for me. I don't really wear heels, even in a comfy pair I'd be in agony after a couple of hours, and the idea of wobling over while walking up the aisle... eeeee! H2B is only a few inches taller than me, so that makes sense too!

i went for gorgeous but comfy, the heal wasn't to short but wasn't silly heal either, RAINBOW is a collection many bridal shops sell and they are very very comfy shoes. However i must admit at night i but some flats on but only because they where the coolest glitter purple shoes ever!

I'm definitely having both as well, but even my sparkly heels aren't that high as my Dad's giving me away and I'm4 in taller than him. Plus I know I'll fall on my face if I wear stilletos! I'm having gorgeous pumps for the evening as my feet will be killing and I want to enojy myself!

My mum always told me "who ever said being a woman was comfortable was a liar" and therefore wear 4 inch heels everyday to work and have learnt to block the pain out ha ha. Personal preference is always going to be high and glam but there are some cute smaller heels out there if you don't think you can do high all day xx

I'm having 3.5 inch strappy crystal sandals for the day, up to the first dance, and then 2.5 inch peep-toes for the evening, 'just in case'. I don't feel right in flats, and find that heels can be perfectly comfortable if you chose right. But, I do want a back-up pair as it will be a long day, and my higher ones are quite open (so not as supportive as a more closed pair)

The only reason I'm having heels at all is because the bottom of my gown is intricate and however excellent the seamstress might be I don't want her messing around with it so I need 3in heels to bump it up to the right length! LittleMissBossy have you tried bay of e? They had some blue ones on the other day that went for about £40? Xx

I've got both. Some gorgeous champagne coloured peep toe slingbacks for the day then some Clarks white ballet pumps for the dancing!

A friend who always wears heels advised that a little bit of ibuprofen gel on the balls on your feet 5 mins before you slip heels on works a charm. Haven't tried it yet though.xx

I want high. I always wear glamourous high heels for special occasions (normally my rainbow zebra print Iron Fist ones!). Unfortunately because of my height, the length of my dress will not allow me to wear sky scrapers so I am going to have to try and find flat shoes that don't make my size 8 feet look like canoes!

i've got heels at about 2 inches as I'm really tall. You can still get gorgeous shoes with small heels though - mine are cerise satin peeptoes and are lovely :o) I've also got flat bridal pumps for the evening because no matter how small they are, I don't want to be wearing heels all day xxx

Can anybody recommend nice 2-3 inch heels, not platforms? Even though all my shoes generally are over 3 inches I can't be taller than my h2b on our wedding day!

Also may be more comfortable if it's a lower heel. All the beautiful ones i've seen online are too high but I don't really want flat or kitten.

I'm disappointed I can't really wear high heels as I think it improves my posture. x

I've got some lower heels (thanks to the help of the ladies on UKBride!) to wear for most of the day as a) I don't get on with wearing high heels for long periods of time and b)I don't want to be taller than h2b, I like being the little one in our relationship. But I'm really considering buying some killer heels (preferably really awesome iron fist ones) to wear in the morning while we're being photographed getting ready.
