ok so my brain has turned to mush and I have run out for ideas :(
me and my h2b are having a wedding based around us and our daughter joiing together as a family (instead of the usual uniting of a couple), the plan is to have a quicky ceremony at the registry office where we''ll probably swap rings, but then in the afternoon we are having another ceremony which we are fully in control of (even writing the whole ceremony ourselves). The thing is that we want to give our daughter a gift as we will have our rings. We read about rose ceremonies where you swap roses and give one to each child too but my h2b doesn't like this idea, and as our daughter will be only 4 at the time we want something she can keep and cherish forever! we considered getting her a roses pendant but like i say my h2b doesn't like the rose idea as he says it isn't really us!!
I am now excited by the idea of an anniversary box where me and my h2b both put a small gift and letter to each other in a box and seal it (not to be opened til the 1st anniversary). We are thinking we could also do the same for our daughter.
A letter to her will be easy enough but I am really stuck on what sort of gift to get her....I thought of a small diamond pendant but again it just doesn't sem to fit. we want something as unique as our wedding itself so the only other thing I can think of is something hand made. some sort of one of piece! but what???

hense brain freeze :( good job I have over a year to come up with something

Charm bracelet, locket, jewellery box, snow globe, scrap book, Personalized keepsake box. There is so many different gifts its hard to choose.

We are also getting married to celebrate all of us becoming a family rather than just the two of us and we also want to get a keepsake gift for our daughter who will be 3 years old at the time.
I think i would like to do her a scrap book all about the 3 of us and the wedding and make it really personal.

Hope you find something special :) x

thanks ladies, I like the snow globe idea as she is getting a charm braclet for xmas from her nan and we scrapbook everything anyway. I will have to have a look round at some styles and prices etc :)
I have also ordered a foam flower globe for her to cary on the day, but it will keep after too which is nice.
