    Hey ladies,

Had an idea that for the table plan, each person has their table number on a tag, which is attached to a key. Then, once they get to the table, their key opens something. I just don't know what it could open...

I thought it could open their favour box, but not sure how I could do it yet.

    Any ideas?xxx

I don't know what you're doing before the meal but you could give it out earlier? If you got locks & keys in batches, one type for each table then your guests can find out/meet who else they're sat with by opening each others locks with their keys? (Obviously without the tags or that'd be easy lol)

Haha or wrap the cutlery up and put a lock on it so they have to unlock it to eat! :p Xx

You could get some little money boxes as a job lot, which they could keep as a favour and put some sweets etc inside as an immediate 'treasure find'?

These I think you have to buy in bulk (100) - it says enquire for prices (link also on my wall).

I just typed in "mini lock box gift" and variations on that theme :)

Or you could buy little favour boxes and ties them up with ribbon - locking the ribbon with a mini padlock?
    favour box.jpg

    - these are plain but 50 for £5.99+£1.75 p&p, the seller seems to specialise in little favour boxes (on my wall) :)
There's loads of ebay listings for sets of mini keys and padlocks :) Xx

Also loving the candy filled lock box, locks and keys are a mini theme for our wedding as after the ceremony we want to lock two heart shaped locks together and throw away the keys. Little locked favour boxes would be ideal for us. I was thinking they could be empty and people can fill the boxes with sweets from the sweetie buffet!

Have to see what I can find as well :)

Love those boxes Holly. You could put your own little design on them as well. They may be quite reasonable actually, because they include the padlock and key xxx
