Hi ladies, my h2b is so difficult to buy for at the best of times and I really want to get him something unique and special but my brain won't engage at all. I don't want to do the boudoir photo shoots just too uncomfortable in my skin no matter how much he says he like it ha-ha. the traditional prezzies are too cheesy. Help I need ideas, even if it means making it myself

    anyone else have similar problems.

mine always appreciates presents with some sort of use, so I'm going to get him a season ticket for his football team next year - thankfully they're only league 2 so it's not too expensive!

What about a camera so he could take a picture of you to keep in his wallet, or a nice frame for picture of you as a couple?

I found a lovely poem about why I love him that I have changed slightly and I've typed up. I will give it to him to open on our wedding morning along with a little keep sake that he can carry with him on the day but I haven't decided on that yet.

jenny - the picture frame idea sounds lovely so does the keeping a picture in his wallet if he carried on :(
Sweet - I've seen some poems, was thinking of doing that but thought he'd think I was been cheesy lol

I've been with him 8 1/2 years you'd think I'd know what little thing to get but it's not as simple as it sounds is it lol

I've bought and rebought hubby to be's gift several times and I dred to think how much I've spent.

I think in the end as long as it's from the heart it doesn't matter as he knows you love him.

If thats the case if there's anything you want you could always drop hints the size of a footie field and see what his reaction is, or ask if he has anything in mind.

Another option would be one of those experience things, that way it can be for both of you.

Ive been with my H2B for 6 years and I wouldnt know what to get him! To be honest I doubt it would cross his mind to get me anything either! I like the idea of something personal, like the photo thats a nice touch, and I like the poem idea, not cheesy at all.

I don't think we're getting gifts for eachother. My h2b keeps telling me he's already got everything he wants in me. soppy get!
but if I change my mind I was thinking of getting him a mini nerf gun :) We both have nerfs and he bought me an amazing one for xmas and then bought me a doubl clip with 36 rounds for my birthday. think he's jealous :p

I must be crazy giving myself only 6 months!

I am doing a scrap book / my groom journal I am making myself with memories of us and why I love him etc... as I don't express my emotions much. I am also going to try and get a letter from his favourite football club to congratulate him on getting married. Most clubs, from what I can gather, will do something for you. hope you find some inspiration :D xx

Done the watch thing already got him an engraved royal navy one for his bday hasn't worn it yet said he's keeping it for very special days like the wedding. I'm going to get a few pics from his mum scan them and make some sort of life line story about his journey up to us meeting and then a blank page with wedding date saying the next chapter: living as one

I did a 'grooms survival kit' for mine. It had:
Stick of Gum - To help us stick together no matter what
Puzzle Piece - You are an important part of my life
Mint - You’re worth a "mint" to me
Eraser - Because everyone makes mistakes
Highlighter - To highlight the good times together
Toothpick - To pick out the good in me
Button - Sometimes it's best to "Button" your lip
Paper Clip - To help you hold it all together
Socks - To stop you getting cold feet
Cufflinks – to link us together
    Feather – for remembrance

I also got him a signed congratualtions certificate from his footie team (Aston Villa), which he was over the moon with.
