H2b and me have been trying for our 2nd child and i think we might just be pregnant!!!!! My period isnt due till thursday but i just have a feeling that i might just be. I so want to take a test but worried in case that as im not due till thursday then it'll be a waste of a test. I only have 1 in the house you see and i dont want to waste money buying one of those tests that tell you a few days before hand and also h2b works at silly time in the morning and he wants to be here when i take the test as he wasnt here for the last time.

When im at work ive been kept so busy it doesnt cross my mind cos im learning a new job but i look after our daughter all day till h2b comes home at 2.30 ish so till then i just keep thinking over and over and also when i come home from work and h2b is in bed lol

Whatever you do don't get one of those tests that tell you how many weeks, they are a waste of money. I work in maternity and the amount of women who come in for their dating scans thinking they are about 12 weeks because of the test and find out that they are much further along and too late for certain screening it's unbelievable. They seem to only go to 5+ weeks, one of my colleagues is pregnant and we got one as an experiment, it said 5+ weeks, then we scanned her and she was 13+.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

thanks shirleygirly thats good to know. When i was pregnant with my daughter i was tempted to go get one of those test just to find out how far along i was but never did. Its not long to go so just have to hold off lol

I got 15 pregnancy tests for £2.80 off amazon. I then don't worry then I test as it doesn't cost much.

Fingers crossed! I'm over a week late, but I'm putting it down to stress as there is a lot of it in my house! Also, due to said dress we haven't been able to do any "baby making", and I'm only off the pill because I started getting migraines due to MIL stress... Wondering whether to take a test or not. How do you feel when you think you are?

I haven't missed a period as haven't had one yet since starting to try
for me I occassionally feel sick (mainly in evenings though) and my boobs are really sensitive. I may not be - will have to wait and see.

good luck! me and my husband are also trying and i am due on tomorrow or sat. my period is irregular so not too sure when. i have the 15 tests from ama zon same as sarsibob1.they are 10 mui so can detect pregnancy from 6 days after ovulation. i have taken a couple of tests already and they were negative but keeping my fingers crossed as i have had a mouth ulcer which ive never had and also been feeling sick. not sure if i am imagining it thuough.

I've been trying for a baby for 3 years, fallen pregnant a few times and lost them but the best thing I found when trying was to relax and not class yourself as trying! Also, try not to take so many tests, just stick to one a month otherwise you'll get in to the habit and you'll start feeling really crappy about getting a negative. Good luck x x

I might go hunting for those tests from a m a z o n lol. The last time i was pregnant i had my last period on boxing day and then we concieved our daughter in jan which we didnt know about at the time but i did have what i thought was a period in jan but i now know was her sticking herself to me if you get what i mean? well anyway how am i going to know if i get a period or just baby sticking itself to me?

well im bleeding as of today but the last few months since having my daughter my periods are really sore which i didnt have before and im not been sore today either? I really do want to pee on a stick but matthew (h2b) wants to be here so i cant do that till thursday anyway but im going to say that im not pregnant. Also last time i was about 7 weeks pregnant when i found out i was pregnant and by that time my boobs was sore but i couldnt say when they started to feel sore? I know every pregnancy is different so what i felt last time or what happened last time may not happen this time but i cant help but compare

Oh also the last few months ive been loosing about 3lbs on average every week and im not really doing anything but this last month i have stayed put for 2 weeks then lost 2lbs then stayed put again dont know if that has anything to do with anything though lol

Ha! Be patient! I wouldn't be able to wait personally. I'm having to wait at the mo because can't actually afford a test! Although a few friends have been asking me to buy one. lol i better be pregnant cos while i was meant to be ovulating we did it so many times that by the end of me ovulating we were getting fed up lol. Its hard being in the mood at a specific time and expecially hard trying to get in the mood around when our 1 year old dictates when we try for her brother and sister lol
