So to be fair I have 4 bridemaids but h2b is actually having 6 best men! His reasoning is that each one has different quailiteies and the one he would pick wouldnt do a speech and this way he wont have to sort anything. They have all said they will buy their own suits tho coz matts going to hire them for the day but I think hes mad....

not sure it's a huge problem as long as he doesn't make you pay for all of the suits! :) And as long as no-one is offended that he clearly can't pick between his friends I'm not sure it will make a difference to your day once you're there. Lots of people have lots of ushers if they have a big wedding - you never know, they might make it easier! you're definitely not losing the plot though.xx

My h2b keeps asking others to be best man and the all say they dont wanna do speeches. Then he says well you can be grooms man then.
Im trying to get him to stick to one and then two groomsman!!
My bro is one and then his mate from work who he wants to be best man but doesnt wanna do speeches then hes asked other friends to be best man then and they say the same and either assume they will be grooms men then or hes said to them that they can be!
Hes gonna have millions at this rate!!

Crikey - my H2B has chosen his dad as his best man, and no groomsmen - I have 2 brothers so have volunteered them as ushers and apart from that he's happy with his friends just being guests so they can enjoy the day without any pressure!
my h2b is (i think) having his dad as best man as he couldnt choose between his 2 best friends. His dad has been through alot of illnesses and it is a miricle he is still here thats why i think he has chosen him!!!

Lol, at least he definitely has one - first person my partner picked to be bm had his visa run out so he had to leave the country, now the other one he has chosen to replace the first has had his visa run out and now might not be in the country for the wedding!

i have 6 bridesmaids because i accidently asked one when drunk and didnt mean it but she got so emotional and started crying that i didnt have it in my heart to tell her i was joking then h2b asked 2 others and i ended up with 7 and so said i couldnt afford all their dresses and one said i wont be bm then just be a guest which i said ok fair enough but now the dresses are only 40 quid i may end up with 7 haha!!

My H2B will be having 2 best men, but i think if he wanted 6 then it would not be a problem as long as they paid for their own suits, at the end of the day, each guy will have a different job and will only be responsible for a certain aspect of the day, could look comical if 6 guys are all passing the rings down the church to the vicar! lol xx

i have 6 bridesmaids made up of sisters and friends, my daughter is my moh and my 3 younger siblings are having flower baskets but im not paying for dresses and iv already been approached about having one of my younger cousins as a flower girl!! a very swift no dealt with that one lol. My h2b has 4 ushers plus my little bro for the england doo and a best man so nope i dont think its too much lol, when i was picking i decided that anyone i felt would be out of place sat down and not with us would be involved just means bm are having maxi dresses (abroad wedding) x

All done Jacs, was really easy actually, we're only having the Chief Bridesmaid & the Usher on the top table, and all the Best Men are with their other halves on the 1st 2 tables in front, so it's worked out really well x
