Any links or advice would be grateful. This isnt just for me but for you Becky too lol.
Weve both come up with the idea that we would like a guest book with a photo to show who left the comment etc. WELL.... i looked on bay of E and polaroid cameras are averaging at £20 and the film is even more expensive!! So that idea is out of the window!
    Any other ideas???

A few years ago I was given a PoGo printer from Polaroid, which prints out photos on 2x3 inch photo stickers - the paper is called Zink and you can get them from Amazon etc, the printer is about £31 and the paper about £12 for 100 photos! You can print from your mobile phone or camera, we're going to use that for our wedding next year :-)

Polaroid's would probably be your best bet tbh, cause having a photo booth will cost you way more. You could just get disposables but then you'd have to get them printed and would have to match them up yourself and all, argh would be a nightmare. You used to be able to get those mini polaroid cameras though that the pictures were like an inch or so long and I think even printed on sticky back prints. (probably the type bridal miss means in fact)

I'll have to have a snoop around and see if I can find any.

I was going to have everyone write a message on their name places that we could frame around a picture of all the guests together, but now we've come up with a different crazy idea for the name thingies so I was thinking of using polaroids as well!

This post was totally all over the place, sorry if it doesn't make sense lol!

Aww, they're discontinued. Cameras are easy enough to get hold of, but it's impossible to find film for it. >.<

Kimberlee I was thinking of getting a small photo book with paper pages in it, a bit like a fancy scrapbook so you can stick straight on the page and write next to it :-)

my friend did this at his wedding a few weeks ago, it was really nice :) everyone took a photo of themselves, either as a couple or a group or even individual and stuck it into the book themselves, so it was a proper scrapbook covered in congrats scribbles and other bits and bobs. They put out only black pens but had sequins and other things you could stick in around the photo. Bit time consuming for the person writing a message, but over the full evening everyone managed to leave a message and it looked fab! You could always buy a smaller polaroid, or desk printers these days aren't too much and most come with photo paper already included which you could use. If not, try supermarket chains for the paper and ink, a certain supermarket who claim every little helps have their paper on offer at the mo :)

    xx

I managed to pick up a pogo printed off bay of e last night for £9. Just have to get the paper now which doesnt seems to be more than £12 for 100 sheets. my h2b loves the idea. And he knows im a creative geek so will probs be able to comes up with something. I didnt think of the wedding scrapbook thing, but maybe that would be an option, As i was thinking of getting a keepsake box anyways.

Yeah - and I find you can get some nice ones in w h smiths with fancy embroidered covers and pulpy cartridge paper inside, look lots nicer that traditional albums! Plus depending on how many guests you have you might want a smaller book - I've got 200 in the night but still only want an A5, 30ish sheet book - would rather the book was full rather than half empty when I look back on it! :-)

I was going to double up and use the rest of the pages to stick in memories of the day night and honeymoon. so instead of having all these keepsake boxes and books its all in one. May have ago at making my own. havent decided yet.

I just got a normal guest book and wrote in pencil to keep the left hand side blank. I'm now just in the process of getting all the pics back so I can start to stick pics of all the guests in now where they left comments.

That seems like a really long process. If the printer is charged it will print off and stick straight into the book rather than trying to find who left which comment. It probs wont end up working coz id be too wrapped up in other stuff to worry bout the pix
