So I wanted to do something like that. But this evening I'm having one of my indecisive moments and now I'm not sure. I don't want a normal seating plan but I don't want anything too difficult to make/put together but I want it to be different and stand out.
Shall I stick with this kind of idea or have you any ideas??

Why not its a great idea! Its your day, your way. I am having a seating plan in my "welcome to my wedding" booklet that each guest will get, so I dont need the hassle of a big framed plan. xx

I think its one of the things you have to really be able to picture in your head to be 100% sure on it and I can't picture it lol I love the idea and I have some lovely frames I can use, will have to buy a couple more but I can make it work, I just can't "see it"
I quite like the heart wire memo boards and just slotting the different cards in to them.. that's another option
I'm just not a huge fan of normal card seating plans, as lovely as they are they just aren't me

Yes I'm liking the frames too - plus you can keep them to use afterwards! Have also seen table plans laid out like bunting with lists on each flag, and also like a tree with the big leaves etc.

Ive seen loads of fab table plans one of which i thought was STUNNING and UNIQUE I'll find a pic in a sec! My table plan will be attached to a mirror and I've seen some in frames like above and some with little washing lines and pegs in a frame and some on tree's! There's loads of ideas out there heres a pic of the washing line

I think its a good idea. Mine is pretty girlie, as my theme is Disney princesses. I am having princess porcelain figures on each table and table names will be of each princess, and in shape of a castle

I love the idea of the frames mine comes with the venue though in the package!! But I did get some funky White frames from ike* for like 79p each and I am going to have photos of me and the hubby to be in them and them dotted around the venue ;) x x

hmmm I'm really confused now as I just found a seating plan which is pretty cheap and fits my theme really well... its just a normal seating plan though :-S It could make things a hell of a lot easier x

I was at the wedding journal show in Belfast on Sunday, and one thing myself and my OH agreed on was the table plan. A company over here, who usually do ice sculptures, have started doing table plans within a big block of ice! It's amazing....

How about a star? I could cut and print some nice stars with the guests names on and then you could hang them in your wishing tree then use the same design but smaller for the wishing tree tags later. Either that or if you had something to hang it from I could do a big star with the table name and then little stars hanging down from it with each name on........
