I have posted a previous thread about wearing coloured shoes, I have been trawling through the internet and can't seem to find any that really catch my eye. I want pink and sparkly, so I have had a thought about buying some plain shoes and just decorating them with pink sparkly crystals...has anyone else done this? If so how long did it take? How did you do it? how many crytals? and is it worth it? Lots of questions LOL also if you have done this would love to see some pics to get an idea of how it looks, in any colour too not just pink :) thanks ladies

I've seen it on another thread, ppl have done this by buying diamante crystals and doing it themselves - can't remember exactly but I think they said it takes more crystals than you think so don't leave it too late!

Haha, you're my shoe inspiration at the moment gem-ben. I was trawling ebay and fell in love with sparkly shoes but they're more expensive than I'd like, now I'm very tempted to get some cheap plain ones and cover them in glitter!
I think it's a really good idea but I bet if I start, I will go off to do something else and then not finish them and end up buying some anyway...I'm a bit like that if I start something I very rarely finish it haha!!

I know nothing is!! When we got engaged 2 an half years ago I bought a cross stitch of Cinderellas castle to put up on our wall and I have only done a tiny corner of it haha

specialsundae did this with red stones, took her a while! hehe. She has a thread about it somewhere, called DIY shoes or summit. I decorated my own shoes, but I just drew on them, pics in my albums xx

Hi Gem, funny enough last year i bought a cheap £5 pair of bridal shoes and rhinestoned the heel in blue (will post pix to album in a sec) Didnt seem to take long, and they looked gorgeous afterwards. Especially when you get the satisfaction on doing it yourself. I actually watched a video on it yday you 'u-tube' called Crystal shoes. It took this girl 7500 rhinestones in sizes 3, 4, and 5mm, and 14 hours to do both shoes. Im going to do myself a pair as my first pair don not fit me anymore. Kinda like Dorothys Ruby slippers lol

Last night on TV ...Gok (am i allowed to say that? apologies if not??? xxx ) he showed you how to 'glitterize' your shoes...looked dead easy but he only done the heel part but they looked so effective. He used glitter fabric....

I have the normal traditional ivory wedding shoes for the day. I was planning on getting some sparkly pumps, just in case my feet kill but then I saw these and thought "I want I want I want"
