    Hi Everyone

My colour scheme is black & ivory and I now have my dress which is red. It took a long time to make my decision about having my dress, as I had no intention of having anything but an ivory dress.

We are holding our wedding breakfast in a marquee and was looking at dressing the walls and was going to have black voile with fairy lights, but have found some photo's online of petal curtains.

The question I need help with is, as I am wearing a red dress could I have an ivory petal curtain that gradually goes to pale pink (as in the first picture)?

I absolutely love the ivory/pale pink and think it looks gorgeous. I'm just a bit worried that it won't "go", because I will be wearing red. I won't be having anything else red at the wedding.

I voted red. I think it would be nice to have something red to bring ur dress into the colour scheme. I love the pink but I would also be worried that it would clash with ur dress. Xx

I think the pink looks fairly subtle - so dont think it would be too much of a problem!

They are both lovely though and would look good in any colour!

There are so many people out there who will tell you
    what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

Another option might be to mainly do it ivory and blend in red in a similar way to the pale pink. I wouldn't have the red lined up straight across, but more zig zagged up and down.

I was just gonna say start at ivory and work through pink down to some deep reds near the bottom. Saw these curtains at a wedding fayre recently, they are gorgeous!

i voted ivory, because i feel that if your dress is red it is a great photo to have infront of them, its your wedding and you do wat you want and dream

I couldn't find any red and pink petal curtains, but I found lots of aisle runners which should give you an idea of what it could look like.

My wedding dress is red and my colour scheme is black & ivory and I wanted to have some colour on the walls, but would need it to compliment my dress. I'm hoping that red, pale pink and hot pink would work? I appreciate your thoughts, good or bad :)

    What do you think?
