I need your opinions ladies..... I booked my cake maker at the beginning of this year and paid a small deposit.... I had got a good deal from her as I had got her some business with a bridal store anyhoo.... I couln't get hold of her so I asked someone i know she is friends with... In turn she emailed me and asked for my number to call... well that was a week ago and I'm still waiting on the call!! I have since sent another e-mail saying I had the money to pay for the rest of she could let me know if It was ok to send it over.... still nothing :s I only got 6 weeks to go! know it was all going too smoothly lol. Things is I have friends who I know would jump at the chance to make my cake(just started own business) Should I give the original women another week then just tell her to leave it at and loose my deposit? and get my friends to it?? grrrrr sorry just soo annoyed.......

if it was me hun, id go with the friend. I'd be thinking if your having this much trouble now what happens if you then cant get in touch with her the day before you get married etc? xx

i would risk loosing the deposit, if you cant get hold of her to pay her then would she actually turn up on the day, very poor business communications in my opinion. go with your friend, sure they wouldnt let you down xx

yeah i think peace of mind is more important so i would defo go with a friend risk losing the deposit then try get it back as you have tried to contact her!! you dont need this stress hugs for you!! x x
