    hi everyone, i have been pulling my hair last few day been very stressed has anyone else had to or know anyone who has had to get copy right permission and it cost them to use/copy paste hymes into there service sheets.....his to me sound stupid !!!!! im lokking at the small print and they all have a charge of £10-£25 !!!! per song. im having 3 songs and my vicor absoululty will not let me print them without it......am i missing the trick here ? any advise would be so much help. x

    Darn, just about to suggest that!

    There are certain hymns that don't need permission, I'll post a link on your wall. At the end of the lyrics it will state if you need permission or not! Hope it helps hun! xx

    No probs hun, you may have to change some hymns but I don't think you should have to pay for something that would normally be in their hymn book! xx

    ive printed hymns in our OOS our minister explained about the copyright, if the composer died so many years ago they dont have to pay, we have 1 song where the composer is still alive, but the minister said something that the church sort the copyright out. as long as we have written the composers details at the end of the words. also, i copied and pasted the words from 1 hymn and had to change them as there were 2/3 words that differed from the words used in church, so the minister asked me to change them. i would ask the vicar again to explain it properly to you. i know that all churches differ. i will put a link on your wall to of the site i got my hymns from :) x

    21st October 2011 will be the best day of my life!!!

    hi guys i had to change all 3 hymes : ( but hay its not so bad . my victor says its my responabilty and i was not prepared to pay out for it. at least now i can go ahead and copy and paste and be done with it.....sticking to the older hymes ...thanks for help guys xxx
