Hi girls just planning my stationary for the wedding and wondered whether I would need order of service for a civil ceremony? I hadn't planned it but then when going through my ceremony pack and planning the ceremony, I am now not sure what to do!! What does everyone think, your opinions please xx

I had a humanist ceremony which is quite similar to a civil one but we got to design our own ceremony

but i didnt have one.. a few people i know have made up "order of the day" which bscially lists the timings of everything from the ceremony, to the photos, to the drinks, to the meals etc...that could be a option but tbh for something that most people will end up leaving on the tables later anyway i wouldnt think its too necessary

you coudl always make up a a4 page for the actually ceremony with whats in it i.e the readings music etc as a keepsake but again something that will end up being left behind!

We are having a cival ceremony and we are having a wedding booklet rather then an order of the day/service
basically i wanted to introduce our wedding party to the guests that dont know them and i wanted a somewhere we could say thank you for coming so this is a 6 page booklet where we can do that. It also includes timings for the day, the menu and some other little bits and its a great keep sake after.

we're having a civil ceremony and aren't having anything like that. Our wedding is going to be pretty small and simple so we're not bothering :o)

We are having a civil ceremony and I will be making an 'order of service' of some sort. Went to a wedding recently and they didn't have one and I wanted to know which readings they were having and who everyone is. Mine will only be an A5 piece of card though as my invites explain the timings of the day.
