My HTB father died of cancer and my grandad, so instead of getting fvours for everyone on the day we are giving to cancer research if you go on their website it says favours, you pay for it there and than and you get little cards for your guests

we're doing that too as many people in my family have been affected by cancer. are you getting the pin badges on the favour cards? we're going to get the ribbon ones with pink stones for the ladies and blue for the men :o) xx

We had cancer research trolley tokens, and made little cards similar to the ones on the website to go with them, and put the 2 of them in purple organza bags to match our colour scheme x

my auntie died last year of cancer. My great gran, grandad and grannie all had cancer and my H2Bs mum is currently recieving radium treatment

i think its a lovelly idea and useful. I know for a fact half my favours will go in the bin lol or just sit on the side of a windowsil so this way something useful is happening if you opt for the cancer research etc options.

We got the cancer research pin badges and people wore them for the rest of the day. it was lovely to see.

I think that's a fantastic idea! We're having LOROS scratchcards as favours (they are a local cancer hospice for terminally ill patients) - they do fantastic work and are run on donations - they were absolutely fantastic to my auntie before she died. We've both lost loved ones/seen loved ones struggle with the disease too x

Think we are going to this too, but was thinking last night does anybody know if any childrens charitys do thos sort of thing? Think we might get from a few different charitys, cancer research, children and animal, we make monthly donations to all these so I think it would be unfair for us to chose just one!
