    Hi there,

My girls are keeping theirs, went for some lovely chiffon ones just below the knee from Debenhams so they can get some wear out of them after. Luckily they were only £70, but that is nice she has given you that back if she thinks you can make some money. I think its personal preference really, some of the really expensive long ones people might not feel they can use again.

    xx

    Hi

I've gone for long chiffon dresses so if they wish they can have them shortened and wear them again. I think with them being chiffon it makes them slightly less formal without losing the bridesmaid style, that way they are more useable after the event. Alternatively they can keep them long and wear them that way. I wanted to make sure I got dresses they liked so that they would be happy to wear them again. Its so sad that we probably wont wear our dresses again so its lovely that the BMs can wear theres.

However its very lovely of ur BM to give hers back.

    xx

    hi,

i think if its something that she can wear again, then I would say let her keep it.

If not and it cost an arm and a leg, then I would prob sell it, she ovbviously hasn't got a problem with it otherwise she wouldn't have been so sweet to give it back to you!!

As the others have said its personal choice!! and if she dosen't want to wear it again, you can!!

they are dresses that can be worn again, but as they are purple she prob wouldnt! i would love to wear it loli88 but would prob be too short as we had them altered to knee length.

i will speak to my other bm tonight when i see her and see what she says!
selling them is a good idea and then i could put the money into our joint account. not sure how much i would get for them though.

i have told her that she can keep her tiara though.
    thanks everyone xx

I'm giving my bridesmaids theirs as a gift. When I add it all up I'm giving them an awful lot! They're definitely something they'll wear again and they're custom-made so I doubt they'd be right for anyone else.

My BM will be keeping her dress afterwards.
The dress looks gorgeous on her and she can use it again.
I'd rather know she's getting use out of it and thinking of the lovely day she had wearing it than sell it.

mine only cost £39.90 each so i'm letting them keep them as they both love them and they do look good in them so its up to them what they do with them.

My bms chose their dresses, and kept them. One of them gave me the money for it (I did protest but she insisted) and the other two had theirs as part of their bm gifts. To be honest, if the one who is the same size as me wanted to give it back I would have kept it as I loved it. In fact I loved it so much that I got one from eBay exactly the same but loads cheaper!
