Hi ladies i just foud this website just now where i could buy invites that was about 75% off the original price but the only problem was there wasnt the full amount of invites that i needed to i ordered different pockefold sizes. Well i was thinking that not everyone is going to see each others invites so it doesnt really matter if they arent all the same really does it?

I have 42 invites for £18.54 and i had to pay £3.99 for postage. Is this a bargain or not? So including postage it works out at 54p per invite

I think thats quite good!

Most invite iv seen are about £2 each for the theme i want,
Im just going to get plain white invites and add a bit of my butterfly confetti for the tables to bring the cost down and my invites still go with my theme!

Sounds pretty good to me - most of the ones ive seen online and in mags are 3-4 pounds each if not more :)

There are so many people out there who will tell you
what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

thanks well i hope so cos i havent seen them yet. They have a message on their website saying that they are taking their annual hoilday so they wont be back till the 6th of sept so i'll get them sent then

Well i they are just the cards i still have to make the rest of them up and i dont know what im gonna do with them yet but i also have to buy some other ones to send to the rest of our guests but hopefully i can find some cheap ones somewhere else

Lol i am an idiot lol i just looked at my guest list just now wondering how many invites i still needed to buy and i dont actually need anymore for the day and have actually bought 10 more for the day than needed lol im such a idiot sometimes lol

I made 80 day invites 200 evening invites my table place cards as well as the actuall table names cards and my order of services for less then 80 pound in total ;) x x

Oh and my favour scrolls and favour butterfly boxes and a colour ink cartridge in that 80 pound ;) x x I am also making confetti cones and they are costing me 3 pounds ;) x

I brought one butterfly box sample off eBay cost 99p and then brought card and copied the bitterly box pattern and made them out of card from the works or the range, the cards for the invites i brought from the works 4.99 for 50 or 100
And then I brought a scrap pack from the works to use that scrap pack for the colour card I needed to get the butterfly cut outs from.
I brought a personalised g and j stamp off eBay (also using this stamp to stamp the g and j on the napkins)

The order of service cards I brought from the range for 8 pound for 50 and then I spent ages working out how to print the writing on them (using paper at first didn't want to waste the card I just brought) then I chose a picture I liked of me and my other half and then printed out like 10 on a page cut them out and out in the middle of the order of services ;)

The card for the table names (the tables are being names after navy ships as my other half is in the navy) I brought from the range 2pound for 10 or 15 can't quiet remember lol then printed the names out on the printed and added butterflies ;)

The actual people's names for the table I brought off eBay 100 for 4.99 ;)

The scrolls I found a nice poem on the Internet then printed them out in to nice fancy hard paper and brought navy blue ribbon to tie the scrolls up ;)

If you ladies need any ideas I will try and help ;) I have done a degree in art and also interior design so I am pretty arty farty ;)

thats a bargain and a half!! I found a lot of invites were £2-£5 for what I was looking for until i came across the one's i'll be going with on ebay at £1 each,save the dates at 80p each etc. And I thought that was a bargain!! lol x

Yeah I thought it was a bargain ;) did take a good few hours but saving so much out of the wedding budget as the 9,000 is disappearing very quickly lol x x
