I am really dreading our best man, he is absolutely hopeless, one of them people that never leaves his house apart from work, we even offered to cook a lamb dinner for him and his partner (my bridesmaid) and because footie was on tv they wouldnt come, Im just dreading it wqhen it comes to rehersals, suit fittings and when he arranges a stag night for my hubbie to be, think im going to have to have a word with him and say he he doesnt help well he cant be best man

Sounds like your describing my husbands brother who was meant to be our best man but dropped out a few months before the wedding. Just say to him, if you dont want the job then speak now, so your h2b has time to ask someone else.

I'm dreading something like this happening, that is if my h2b ever gets round to asking someone to be his bestman. I think there's a choice of 2, a friend who he's known a while but lives down in london and his cousin who lives on the isle of man. So neither really any close for arranging things! Hes not making it easy on himself lol
