I'm having a diamante topper made for our cake. It's just our initials : A & L in French script lettering. Hopefully it says classy and elegant! lol lol lol :-)

Its dark purple with a touch of lilac (my mums outfit is lilacy)
Im not fussed if all the purples are the exact shade as long as they all go together, but most of them are going very nicely together!!!

i love teal!!! Lol! My rings is aquamarine and i was thinking of doing that but thought it was too light,.
I asked my SIL to pick a colour and she said purple and i seen a really nice bridesmaids dress that i wanted to have so decided on dark purple!
The dresses have change as i found ones half the price lol!

I was going to go for aquamarine as its what my engagement ring is and its both mine and h2bs birthstone. I had the same problem with finding dresses i liked for.bridesmaids then i found one i loved in purple so went for that instead!! But iv actually nt even bought the dress i wamted for bridesmaids i found some cheaper lol x xx

i've just ordered a bridesmaid dress from the bay to see what the colour and quality are like. they were only 30quid so if they are crap, i'll just not use it. i've ordered a light turquoise colour, again just to see what it's like.
hope they are good coz i've been quoted 300 for 3 dresses from that big fat wedding site (who i've found out doesn't make the dresses, she sends info to a china company to make)

Its gonna be cheaper to do a lot of the stuff myself.
although last night my mum said that the lady at the home ec department at her school would probably make my cake. which means i might not have to make the butterflies for it myself! xxx
