I want to do kids bags to keep them entertained during dinner and speeches, just wondering if anyone else has done this and for what ages and what have you put in them? Thanks ladies x

We did this ... well I went online and found a company that does a little box. They do them in loads of different age groups, and for boys or girls. You can even get the boxes made in your color scheme. The kids at our wedding were quiet and occupied during the speeches, which is exactly what we wanted, and the mums told us that they were a brilliant idea.
I'm sure I'm not allowed to tell you the name of the company, but message me if you want to know xx

Nice idea, we're planning on having a kids table where the little'uns can have games and stuff to occupy them during the days proceedings.
Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)

We have 7 bags, a mix of girls and boys between the ages of 3 and 9, I went to a pound shop and bought toys and colouring books and pencils and some sweets to keep them occupied!!

I did this, I brought plain white paper bags, the one with handles, then made tags which i tied to them with all their names on them. For the boys I put little cars, areoplanes, little men on paracutes, bubbles, colouring book and crayons. For the girls i did little key rings, stickers, little note book and pens, bubbles colouring book and crayons. I had a 10 year old girl as well and I put things like hair bands and stationery in hers.
We just gave ours colouring books, with crayons and stickers. And we gave the baby babies toys!
Now Mrs Cobb!!!!!! :-D

well my kids loved theirs on monday.
i got a gift bag for 50p (out a supermarket T ) along with small packets of sweets ( 11 for £1) so they have 4 packets of sweets in the bag, then a got a mini colouring pad and crayons, for a £1 , out of a £1 shop , and a 30 piece jigsaw, out of a cheep clothing shop ( P.....k) for 75p
And they really enjoyed it. Some of the parents had also allowed their kids to bring their ds's along

We are doing this with colouring books, pencils, little games and Hails came up with an excellent photo hunt game, I'll bump the thread up for you if you want it? We are also having giant/blowup games on the dance floor as there is an hour and a half between speeches and before disco starts up and evening guests arrive, so we can all catch up properly (all family at the breakfast and I want pictures with everyone)!

We're doing this, I've seen some lovely little toys in a pound shop, they're like a little play scene with figures and accessories, each one is different and there's several to choose from. Will also be getting paper and pencils too - not getting sweets though cos I'm sure that the adult favours will be passed over anyway lol
Now, finally, Mrs Riley
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words

I've bought wedding activity books from the bay of E entitled, 'something to keep you happy when the grown up's are being really boring at the dinner table' along with a multi-coloured pop top crayon pen. Quite pricey at £6.40 per child but as I only have 7 smaller children at the wedding it wasn't too bad. I also bought the page boy and 1 bridesmaid, both of whom are my gorgeous children, my day as a page boy book and my day as a bridesmaid book along with a disposable camera each. I've got 5 boys aged from 9-13 and an 11yr old girl still to buy for, not finding it very easy tbh. I want something fun but not something too kiddie like or anything that will remind them of school lol....Two of them are my boys and I know they will hate me forever if I did that to them lol

I'm thinking I'm going to have a look in our local Hawkins b. They sell those metal puzzles and things like that, I usually go in there for stocking fillers so I think this could be a winner x
