My daughter fell in love with this dress in a dressmakers window months ago. We went in today, originally to talk to her about making a dress for my daughter and happened to mention this dress - she'd made it for her sister who is (sadly) anorexic, so it will only fit a child anyway which meant it's never sold as it's so small. She's going to adapt it to make it more suitable for a 10 year old and it's decided my colour theme for me, as I was all over the place with it :0)
However, I'm still umming as to whether it will look ok on a girl who is between flower girl dresses and grown-up dresses! What do you think?

Wow, it's lovely and it sounds like your daughter is at that age where she wants to look a bit more grown up than cute, lol, if you don't think it's quite right you could have some simple straps added!

Straps is what I was thinking. I don't like the thought of a 10 year old in a strapless top. And Mrs C, you need a waist about 2" - it's really tiny, lol. I'm struggling to find a wedding dress to go with it now, lol. Surely that's the wrong way round?!! Mind you, the dressmaker has some material left so she suggested I get a plain one and she'll dress it with similar flowers and sash :0)
